Psalm 65:1-8

God’s Abundant Favor to Earth and Mankind.

For the music director. A Psalm of David. A Song.

65 There will be silence [a]before You, and praise in Zion, God,
And the (A)vow will be fulfilled for You.
You who hear prayer,
To You (B)all [b]mankind comes.
[c](C)Wrongdoings prevail against me;
As for our offenses, You [d](D)forgive them.
(E)Blessed is the one You (F)choose and allow to approach You;
He will dwell in Your courtyards.
We will be (G)satisfied with the goodness of Your house,
Your holy temple.

By (H)awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, (I)God of our salvation,
You who are the trust of all the (J)ends of the earth and the farthest [e](K)sea;
Who (L)establishes the mountains by His strength,
Who is (M)encircled with might;
Who (N)stills the roaring of the seas,
The roaring of their waves,
And the (O)turmoil of the nations.
They who dwell at the (P)ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs;
You make the [f]sunrise and the sunset shout for joy.

Psalm 65:9-13

You visit the earth and (A)cause it to overflow;
You greatly (B)enrich it;
The [a](C)stream of God is full of water;
You prepare their (D)grain, for so You prepare [b]the earth.
10 You water its furrows abundantly,
You [c]settle its ridges,
You soften it (E)with showers,
You bless its growth.
11 You have crowned the year [d]with Your (F)goodness,
And Your [e]paths (G)drip with fatness.
12 (H)The pastures of the wilderness drip,
And the (I)hills encircle themselves with rejoicing.
13 The meadows are (J)clothed with flocks
And the valleys are (K)covered with grain;
They (L)shout for joy, yes, they sing.

Isaiah 52:1-6

Cheer for Prostrate Zion

52 (A)Awake, awake,
Clothe yourself in your strength, Zion;
Clothe yourself with your (B)beautiful garments,
Jerusalem, the (C)holy city;
For the uncircumcised and the (D)unclean
Will no longer come into you.
Shake yourself (E)from the dust, (F)rise up,
Captive Jerusalem;
(G)Release yourself from the chains around your neck,
Captive daughter of Zion.

For this is what the Lord says: “You were (H)sold for nothing, and you will be (I)redeemed (J)without money.” For this is what the Lord [a]God says: “My people (K)went down to Egypt first to reside there; then the Assyrian oppressed them without reason. And now, what do I have here,” declares the Lord, “seeing that My people have been taken away without reason?” Again the Lord declares, “Those who rule over them howl, and My (L)name is continually reviled all day long. Therefore, My people shall (M)know My name; therefore on that day I am the one who is speaking, ‘Here I am.’”

John 12:44-50

44 Now Jesus cried out and said, (A)The one who believes in Me, does not believe only in Me, but also in Him who sent Me. 45 And (B)the one who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. 46 (C)I have come as Light into the world, so that no one who believes in Me will remain in darkness. 47 If anyone hears My [a]teachings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for (D)I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 (E)The one who rejects Me and does not [b]accept My [c]teachings has one who judges him: (F)the word which I spoke. That will judge him on (G)the last day. 49 (H)For I did not speak [d]on My own, but the Father Himself who sent Me (I)has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak. 50 And I know that (J)His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak (K)just as the Father has told Me.”
