Psalm 80:1-7

O God, Restore Us

For the choir director. [a]El Shoshannim. [b]Eduth. Of Asaph. A Psalm.

80 O (A)Shepherd of Israel, give ear,
You who guide (B)Joseph like a flock;
You who (C)are enthroned above the cherubim, shine forth!
Before (D)Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, (E)stir up Your might
And come to save us!
O God, (F)restore us
And (G)cause Your face to shine upon us, that we would be saved.

O (H)Yahweh God of hosts,
(I)How long will You [c]smolder against the prayer of Your people?
You have fed them with the (J)bread of tears,
And You have made them to drink tears in [d]large measure.
You set us as [e]an object of strife (K)to our neighbors,
And our enemies mock us among themselves.
O God of hosts, restore us
And cause Your face to shine upon us, that we might be saved.

Psalm 80:17-19

17 Let (A)Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand,
Upon the son of man whom You (B)made strong for Yourself.
18 Then we shall not (C)turn back from You;
(D)Revive us, and we will call upon Your name.
19 O Yahweh God of hosts, (E)restore us;
Cause Your face to shine upon us, that we might be saved.

Zechariah 13

Jerusalem Refined and Tested

13 “In that day a (A)fountain will be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for (B)sin and for (C)impurity.

“And it will be in that day,” declares Yahweh of hosts, “that I will (D)cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they will no longer be remembered; and I will also cause the (E)prophets and the (F)unclean spirit to pass away from the land. And it will be that if anyone still (G)prophesies, then his father and mother who gave birth to him will say to him, ‘You shall (H)not live, for you have spoken (I)falsely in the name of Yahweh’; and his (J)father and mother who gave birth to him will pierce him through when he prophesies. And it will be in that day, that the prophets will each be (K)ashamed of his vision when he prophesies, and they will not put on a (L)hairy mantle in order to deceive; but he will say, ‘I am (M)not a prophet; I am a cultivator of the ground, for a man [a]sold me as a slave in my youth.’ And one will say to him, ‘What are these wounds struck here (N)between your [b]arms?’ Then he will say, ‘Those with which I was struck in the house of [c]my friends.’

“Awake, O (O)sword, against My (P)Shepherd
And against the man, My (Q)Associate,”
Declares Yahweh of hosts.
(R)Strike the Shepherd that the sheep may be scattered;
And I will (S)turn My hand [d]against the little ones.
And it will be in all the land,”
Declares Yahweh,
“That (T)two parts in it will be cut off and breathe their last;
But the third will be left in it.
And I will bring the third part through the (U)fire
And refine them as silver is refined
And test them as gold is tested.
[e]They will (V)call on My name,
And I will (W)answer them;
I will say, ‘They are (X)My people,’
And they will say, ‘Yahweh is my God.’”

Revelation 14:6-13

The Messages of the Three Angels

Then I saw another angel flying in (A)midheaven, having (B)an eternal gospel to proclaim to (C)those who [a]inhabit the earth, and to (D)every nation and tribe and tongue and people. And he said with a loud voice, “(E)Fear God, and (F)give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who (G)made the heaven and the earth and sea and (H)springs of waters.”

And another angel, a second one, followed, saying, “[b](I)Fallen, fallen is (J)Babylon the great, she who has (K)made all the nations drink of the (L)wine of the wrath of her [c]sexual immorality.”

Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone (M)worships the beast and his (N)image, and receives a (O)mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 and he also will drink of the (P)wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed [d]in full strength (Q)in the cup of His rage, and he will be tormented with (R)fire and [e]brimstone in the presence of the (S)holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the (T)smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; (U)they have no rest day and night, those who (V)worship the beast and his (W)image, and [f]whoever receives the (X)mark of his name.” 12 Here is (Y)the perseverance of the saints who (Z)keep the commandments of God and [g](AA)their faith in Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Write, ‘(AB)Blessed are the dead who (AC)die in the Lord from now on!’” “Yes,” (AD)says the Spirit, “so that they may (AE)rest from their labors, for their (AF)deeds follow with them.”
