Version
Psalm 112

112 Blessed is the man who fears the LORD and delights greatly in His Commandments.

His seed shall be mighty upon Earth. The generation of the righteous shall be blessed.

Riches and treasures shall be in his house and his righteousness endures forever.

To the righteous arises light in darkness. He is merciful and full of compassion, and righteous.

A good man is merciful and lends. He will measure his affairs by judgment.

Surely, he shall never be moved. The righteous shall be held in everlasting remembrance.

He will not be afraid of evil tidings. His heart is fixed, believing in the LORD.

His heart is established. He will not fear, until he sees his desire upon his enemies.

He has distributed, given to the poor. His righteousness remains forever. His horn shall be exalted with glory.

10 The wicked shall see it and be angry. He shall gnash with his teeth and melt away. The desire of the wicked shall perish. Praise the LORD

Proverbs 18:6-12

A fool’s lips come with strife, and his mouth calls for stripes.

A fool’s mouth is his own destruction, and his lips are a snare for his soul.

The words of a talebearer are as flatterings. And they go down to the core.

He, also, who is slothful in his work is the brother of him who is corrupt.

10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and are exalted.

11 The rich man’s riches are his strong city; and are as a high wall in his imagination.

12 Before destruction, the heart of a man is haughty. And before glory goes lowliness.

1 Peter 4:7-11

Now, the end of all things is at hand. Therefore, be of sound mind, and watching in prayer.

But above all things, have fervent love among you. For love shall cover a multitude of sins.

Be hospitable one to another, without grumbling.

10 The same gifts which everyone has received, let us minister to each other as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the words of God. If anyone ministers, let him do so as with the strength which God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ; to Whom is praise and dominion, forever and ever. Amen.
