MEM

⁹⁷ Oh how love I Your Law! It is my meditation continually.

⁹⁸ By Your Commandments You have made me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me.

⁹⁹ I have had more understanding than all my teachers, for Your Testimonies are my meditation.

¹⁰⁰ I understood more than the aged, because I kept Your Precepts.

¹⁰¹ I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep Your Word.

¹⁰² I have not turned away from Your Judgments, for You have taught me.

¹⁰³ How sweet are Your promises to my mouth; yea, more than honey to my mouth!

¹⁰⁴ By Your Precepts I have gotten understanding. Therefore, I hate all the ways of falsehood.

12 “These are the Ordinances and the Laws which you shall observe and do in the land which the LORD God of your fathers gives you to possess, as long as you live upon the Earth.

² “You shall utterly destroy all the places where the nations which you shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains and upon the hills and under every green tree.

³ “Also, you shall overthrow their altars and break down their pillars and burn their groves with fire. And you shall cut down the graven images of their gods and abolish their names out of that place.

⁴ “You shall not do so to the LORD your God.

⁵ “But you shall seek the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of your tribes, to put His Name there, to dwell there. And to there you shall come.

⁶ “And you shall bring your Burnt Offerings there, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the offering of your hands, and your vows, and your Free Offerings, and the firstborn of your cattle and of your sheep.

⁷ “And there you shall eat before the LORD your God. And you shall rejoice in all that you put your hand to—you and your households—because the LORD your God has blessed you.

⁸ “You shall not repeat all these things that we do here this day, every man doing whatever seems good to him in his own eyes.

⁹ “For you have not yet come to the rest and the inheritance which the LORD your God gives you.

¹⁰ “But when you go over Jordan and dwell in the land which the LORD your God has given you to inherit, and He has given you rest from all your enemies all around, and you dwell in safety—

¹¹ “when there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose, to cause His name to dwell there—there shall you bring all that I command you: your Burnt Offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the offering of your hands and all your special vows which you vow to the LORD.

¹² “And you shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you and your sons and your daughters and your servants and your maidens and the Levite who is within your gates (for he has no part or inheritance with you).

⁴¹ The Jews then grumbled at Him because He said, ‘I am the bread which has come down from Heaven.’

⁴² And they said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, Whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, “I came down from Heaven?”

⁴³ Then Jesus answered, and said to them, “Do not grumble among yourselves.

⁴⁴ “No one can come to Me unless the Father, Who has sent Me, draws him. And I will raise him up at the last day.

⁴⁵ “It is written in the Prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God’. Therefore, everyone who has heard, and has learned from the Father, comes to Me.

⁴⁶ “Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He Who is from God; He has seen the Father.

⁴⁷ “Truly, truly I say to you, the one who believes in Me has everlasting life.

⁴⁸ “I am the bread of life.

⁴⁹ “Your fathers ate Manna in the wilderness and are dead.

⁵⁰ “This is the bread which comes down from Heaven, so that anyone who eats of it should not die.

⁵¹ “I am the living bread which came down from Heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he shall live forever. And the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”
