9 And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good. For the Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as He rejoiced over thy fathers,
10 if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this Book of the Law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart and with all thy soul.
11 “For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, ‘Who shall go up for us to heaven and bring it unto us, that we may hear it and do it?’
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, ‘Who shall go over the sea for us and bring it unto us, that we may hear it and do it?’
14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
25 Unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul;
2 O my God, I trust in Thee. Let me not be ashamed; let not mine enemies triumph over me.
3 Yea, let none that wait on Thee be ashamed; let them be ashamed that transgress without cause.
4 Show me Thy ways, O Lord; teach me Thy paths.
5 Lead me in Thy truth and teach me, for Thou art the God of my salvation; on Thee do I wait all the day.
6 Remember, O Lord, Thy tender mercies and Thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to Thy mercy remember Thou me, for Thy goodness’ sake, O Lord.
8 Good and upright is the Lord; therefore will He teach sinners in the way.
9 The meek will He guide in judgment, and the meek will He teach His way.
10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, unto them that keep His covenant and His testimonies.

2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ, who are at Colossae: Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
4 since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love which ye have for all the saints,
5 for the hope which is laid up for you in Heaven, of which ye heard before in the word of the truth of the Gospel,
6 which has come unto you, as it has in all the world, and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you since the day ye heard of it and knew the grace of God in truth.
7 Ye also learned of it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ,
8 who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.
9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 that ye might walk worthy of the Lord, in all pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 strengthened with all might according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12 giving thanks unto the Father, who hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.
13 He hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son,
14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
25 And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”
26 He said unto him, “What is written in the law? How readest thou?”
27 And he answering said, “‘Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind, and thy neighbor as thyself.’”
28 And He said unto him, “Thou hast answered right; this do, and thou shalt live.”
29 But he, wanting to justify himself, said unto Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
30 And Jesus answering said, “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his raiment and wounded him and departed, leaving him half dead.
31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him and passed by on the other side.
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was. And when he saw him he had compassion on him,
34 and went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn and took care of him.
35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host and said unto him, ‘Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again I will repay thee.’
36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbor unto him that fell among the thieves?”
37 And he said, “He that showed mercy on him.” Then said Jesus unto him, “Go and do thou likewise.”
