29 Give to the LORD, you sons of the Mighty. Give to the LORD glory and strength.

² Give to the LORD glory due His Name. Worship the LORD in the glorious Sanctuary.

³ The voice of the LORD is upon the waters. The God of Glory makes it thunder. The LORD is upon the great waters.

⁴ The voice of the LORD is mighty. The voice of the LORD is glorious.

⁵ The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars. Indeed, the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶ He also makes them leap like a calf, Lebanon and Shirion like a young unicorn.

⁷ The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.

⁸ The voice of the LORD makes the wilderness tremble. The LORD makes the wilderness of Kadesh tremble.

⁹ The voice of the LORD makes the hinds calve and discovers the forests. In His Temple, every man speaks of His Glory.

¹⁰ The LORD sits upon the floods; and the LORD remains King forever.

¹¹ The LORD shall give strength to His people. The LORD shall bless His people with peace. A Psalm or song of the dedication of the House of David.

¹² Then the Spirit took me up, and I heard a noise of a great rushing behind me, saying, “Blessed be the Glory of the LORD out of His place.

¹³ I also heard the noise of the wings of the beasts that touched one another, and the rattling of the wheels that were beside them, a noise of a great rushing.

¹⁴ So the Spirit lifted me up and took me away. And I went in bitterness and indignation of my spirit. But the Hand of the LORD was strong upon me.

¹⁵ Then I came to those who were led away captives to Tel Abib, who dwelt by the river Chebar. And I sat where they sat, and remained there, astonished among them for seven days.

¹⁶ And at the end of seven days, the Word of the LORD came again to me, saying:

¹⁷ “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the House of Israel. Therefore, hear the Word in My Mouth, and give them warning from Me.

¹⁸ “When I shall say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you do not give him warning or speak to admonish the wicked of his wicked way, so that he may live, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.

¹⁹ “Yet, if you warn the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness, or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

²⁰ “Likewise, if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, I will lay a stumbling block before him and he shall die. And because you have not given him warning, he shall die in his sin and his righteous deeds which he has done shall not be remembered. But his blood will I require at your hand.

²¹ “However, if you admonish the righteous man that the righteous does not sin (so that he does not sin), he shall live because he is admonished; and you have also delivered your soul.”

¹⁸ And it happened that as He was alone praying, His disciples were with Him. And He asked them, saying, “Whom do the people say that I am?”

¹⁹ They answered, and said, “John Baptist. And others say, Elijah. And some say that one of the old Prophets has risen again.”

²⁰ And He said to them, “But Whom do you say that I am?” Peter answered, and said, “The Christ of God.”

²¹ And He warned and commanded them to tell that to no one,

²² saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, and by the chief priests and scribes, and be killed; and the third day rise again.”

²³ And He said to them all, “If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

²⁴ “For whoever would save his life, shall lose it. And whoever shall lose his life, for my sake, the same shall save it.

²⁵ "For what does it benefit a man if he wins the whole world and destroys himself, or loses himself?

²⁶ “For whoever shall be ashamed of Me and My words, of him shall the Son of Man be ashamed when He shall come in His own Glory, and in the Glory of the Father, and of the holy angels.

²⁷ “And I tell you truly, there are some standing here who shall not taste of death till they have seen the Kingdom of God.”
