29 Give to the LORD, you sons of the Mighty. Give to the LORD glory and strength.

² Give to the LORD glory due His Name. Worship the LORD in the glorious Sanctuary.

³ The voice of the LORD is upon the waters. The God of Glory makes it thunder. The LORD is upon the great waters.

⁴ The voice of the LORD is mighty. The voice of the LORD is glorious.

⁵ The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars. Indeed, the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶ He also makes them leap like a calf, Lebanon and Shirion like a young unicorn.

⁷ The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.

⁸ The voice of the LORD makes the wilderness tremble. The LORD makes the wilderness of Kadesh tremble.

⁹ The voice of the LORD makes the hinds calve and discovers the forests. In His Temple, every man speaks of His Glory.

¹⁰ The LORD sits upon the floods; and the LORD remains King forever.

¹¹ The LORD shall give strength to His people. The LORD shall bless His people with peace. A Psalm or song of the dedication of the House of David.

² Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes—the chief fathers of the children of Israel—to Jerusalem, to bring up the Ark of the Covenant of the LORD from the City of David (which is Zion).

³ And all the men of Israel assembled to the king at the Feast. It was in the seventh month.

⁴ And all the elders of Israel came. And the Levites took up the Ark.

⁵ And they carried up the Ark and the Tabernacle of the Congregation and all the holy vessels that were in the Tabernacle. The priests and Levites brought those up.

⁶ And King Solomon and all the Congregation of Israel who were assembled to him were before the Ark, offering sheep and bullocks which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

⁷ So, the priests brought the Ark of the Covenant of the LORD to its place, into the Oracle of the House, into the Most Holy Place, under the wings of the Cherubim.

⁸ For the Cherubim stretched out their wings over the place of the Ark. And the Cherubim covered the Ark and its poles above.

⁹ And they extended the poles, so that the ends of the poles might be seen out of the Ark, in front of the Oracle. But they were not seen outside. And they are there to this day.

¹⁰ Nothing was in the Ark except the two Tables which Moses gave at Horeb, where the LORD made a Covenant with the children of Israel when they came out of Egypt.

¹¹ And when the priests had come out of the Sanctuary (for all the priests who were present were sanctified and did not wait by divisions),

¹² and the Levites (the singers of all sorts) —Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, and of their sons and of their brethren, being clad in fine linen—they stood with cymbals and with viols and harps at the eastern end of the Altar, and with them a hundred twenty priests, blowing with trumpets.

¹³ And they were as one, blowing trumpets and singing and making one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD, lifting up their voices with trumpets and with cymbals and with instruments of music and praising the LORD, singing, “For He is good, because His mercy endures forever.” Then the House, the House of the LORD, was filled with a cloud,

¹⁴ so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud. For the Glory of the LORD had filled the House of God.

¹⁹ “So, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision.

²⁰ “But I declared first to those of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judea; and then to the Gentiles, so that they would repent and turn to God, and do the works of repentance.

²¹ “For this reason the Jews arrested me in the Temple and planned to kill me.

²² “Nevertheless, I obtained the help of God, and continue to this day, witnessing to both small and great, saying no other things than those which the Prophets and Moses said would come.

²³ “That is, that Christ should suffer. And that He would be the first Who would rise from the dead, and would show light to this people, and to the Gentiles.”

²⁴ And as he answered for himself this way, Festus said with a loud voice, “Paul! You are beside yourself! Great learning has made you mad!”

²⁵ But he said, “I am not mad, O noble Festus. Rather, I speak the words of truth and soberness.

²⁶ “For the King knows of these things, before whom I also speak boldly. For I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him. For this thing was not done in a corner.

²⁷ “O King Agrippa! Do you believe the Prophets? I know that you believe.”

²⁸ Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You almost persuade me to become a Christian.”

²⁹ Then Paul said, “I pray to God that not only you, but also all who hear me today, were both almost and altogether such as I am, except for these chains!”
