Psalm 119:97-104

MEM.

97 ¶ O how I love thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

98 ¶ Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies, for they are eternal unto me.

99 I have more understanding than all my teachers, for thy testimonies have been my meditation.

100 I understand more than the elders because I keep thy precepts.

101 ¶ I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.

102 ¶ I have not departed from thy judgments, for thou hast taught me.

103 ¶ How sweet have been thy spoken words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

104 Through thy precepts I have obtained understanding; therefore I have hated every false way.

Deuteronomy 12:1-12

12 ¶ These are the statutes and rights which ye shall keep to do them in the land which the LORD God of thy fathers gives thee to inherit all the days that ye live upon the land.

Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, upon which the Gentiles, of whom ye shall inherit, served their gods, upon the high mountains and upon the hills and under every green tree;

and ye shall overthrow their altars and break their images and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the statues of their gods and destroy the names of them out of that place.

Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God.

¶ But ye shall seek the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there for his habitation, and thou shalt go there.

And there ye shall bring your burnt offerings and your sacrifices and your tithes and the offerings of your hand and your vows and your freewill offerings and the firstborn of your cows and of your sheep;

and there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye and your households shall rejoice in every work of your hands in which the LORD thy God has blessed thee.

Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, each man doing what seems right in his own eyes,

For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God gives you.

10 But when ye pass the Jordan and dwell in the land which the LORD your God gives you to inherit and when he gives you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety,

11 then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; there shall ye bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the offerings of your hand and all your choice of vows which ye vow unto the LORD;

12 and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye and your sons and your daughters and your menslaves and your maidslaves and the Levite that is within your gates because he has no part nor inheritance with you.

John 6:41-51

41 The Jews then murmured of him because he said, I AM the bread which descended from the heaven.

42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that he says, I descended from heaven?

43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.

44 No one can come to me unless the Father who has sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day.

45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught of God. Every man therefore that has heard from the Father and has learned comes unto me.

46 Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is of God, he has seen the Father.

47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes in me has eternal life.

48 I AM the bread of life.

49 Your fathers ate manna in the wilderness and are dead.

50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die.

51 I AM the living bread which came down from heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, they shall live for ever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
