Psalm 66-67

66 Rejoice in God, all the Earth!

Sing forth the Glory of His Name! Make His praise glorious!

Say to God, “How terrible are You in Your works! Through the greatness of Your power shall Your enemies be in subjection to You.

“All the world shall worship You and sing to You. Sing of Your Name!” Selah.

Come and behold the works of God. He is terrible in His doings toward the sons of men.

He has turned the sea into dry land. They passed through the river on foot. We rejoiced in Him there.

He rules the world with His power. His eyes behold the nations. The rebellious shall not exalt themselves. Selah.

Praise our God, you people, and make the voice of His praise heard.

He holds our souls in life and does not let our feet slip.

10 For You, O God, have tested us. You have refined us as silver is refined.

11 You have brought us into the net. You put pressure upon our loins.

12 You have caused men to ride over our heads. We went into fire and into water; but You brought us out into abundance.

13 I will go into Your House with burnt offerings and will pay You my vows

14 which my lips have promised; and my mouth has spoken in my affliction.

15 I will offer to You the burnt offerings of fat rams with incense. I will prepare bullocks and goats. Selah.

16 Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell you what He has done to my soul.

17 I called to Him with my mouth and He was exalted with my tongue.

18 If I regard wickedness in my heart, the LORD will not hear me.

19 But God has heard me and considered the voice of my prayer.

20 Praised God, Who has turned away neither my prayer nor His mercy. To him who excels on Neginoth: A psalm or song

67 God be merciful to us and bless us. Cause His face to shine among us (Selah),

so that they may know Your way upon Earth and Your saving health among all nations.

Let the people praise You, O God. Let all the people praise You.

Let the people be glad and rejoice; for You shall judge the people righteously and govern the nations upon the Earth. Selah.

Let the people praise You, O God. Let all the people praise You.

Then shall the Earth bring forth her increase; and God, even our God, shall bless us.

God shall bless us, and all the ends of the Earth shall fear Him. To him who excels: A psalm or song of David

Psalm 19

19 The heavens declare the Glory of God, and the firmament shows the work of His Hands.

Day unto day utters the same, and night unto night teaches knowledge.

There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.

Their line has gone forth through all the earth; and their words into the ends of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the Sun,

which comes forth as a bridegroom out of his chamber, and rejoices like a mighty man to run his race.

His going out is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit is to the ends of the same, and nothing is hidden from the heat thereof.

The Law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul. The testimony of the LORD is sure and gives wisdom to the simple.

The Statutes of the LORD are right and rejoice the heart. The Commandment of the LORD is pure and gives light to the eyes.

The fear of the LORD is clean and endures forever. The judgments of the LORD are truth. They are righteous altogether,

10 and more to be desired than gold—yea, than much fine gold—sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

11 Moreover, by them your servant is made circumspect, and in the keeping of them there is great reward.

12 Who can understand his faults? Cleanse me from secret faults.

13 Keep your servant from presumptuous sins, also. Do not let them reign over me. So, shall I be upright and made clean from much wickedness.

14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD my strength, and my redeemer. To him who excels. A Psalm of David.

Psalm 46

46 God is our hope and strength; help in troubles, ready to be found.

Therefore, we will not fear, though the Earth be moved and though the mountains fall into the midst of the sea.

The waters thereof rage and are troubled; the mountains shake at the surges of the same. Selah.

Still, there is a River whose stream shall make glad the City of God, the Sanctuary of the Tabernacles of the Most High.

God is in the midst of it; therefore, it shall not be moved. God shall help it in the dawning.

When the nations raged and the kingdoms were moved, God thundered, and the Earth melted.

The LORD of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Come and behold the works of the LORD, what desolations He has made on the Earth.

He makes wars cease, to the ends of the world. He breaks the bow and cuts the spear and burns the chariots with fire.

10 “Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the heathen. I will be exalted on the Earth.”

11 The LORD of Hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. To him who excels: A Psalm committed to the sons of Korah.

Habakkuk 1:1-2

The burden which Habakkuk the Prophet saw:

O LORD, how long shall I cry, and you will not hear, cry out to You for violence, and You will not help?

Why do You show me iniquity and cause me to behold sorrow? For plundering and violence are before me. And there are those who raise strife and contention.

Therefore, the Law is dissolved, and judgment never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous. Therefore, wrong judgment proceeds.

“Behold among the heathen, and watch, and wonder, and marvel. For I will work a work in your days. You will not believe it, though it is told to you.

“For lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and furious nation, who shall go upon the breadth of the land to possess the dwelling places that are not theirs.

“They are terrible and fearful. Their judgment and their dignity shall proceed themselves.

“Also, their horses are swifter than leopards, and fiercer than wolves in the evening. And their horsemen are numerous. And their horsemen shall come from afar. They shall fly as the eagle diving toward prey.

“They all come to plunder. For their faces shall be an East wind. And they shall gather the captivity as the sand.

10 “And they shall mock the kings. And the princes shall be a scorn to them. They shall deride every stronghold. For they shall gather dust and take it.

11 “Then they shall take courage and transgress and do wickedly, imputing their power to their god.”

12 Are not You of old, O LORD my God, my Holy One? We shall not die. O LORD, You have ordained them for judgment! And, O God, You have established them for correction.

13 You are of pure Eyes and cannot consider evil. You cannot regard wickedness. Why do You look upon the transgressors and hold Your tongue when the wicked devours the man who is more righteous than he?

14 And men who have no ruler over them You make as the fish of the sea and as the creeping things.

15 They take up all with the hook. They catch it in their net and gather it in their fishing net, over which they rejoice and are glad.

16 Therefore, they sacrifice to their net and burn incense to their fishing net, because by them their portion is fat and their food plentiful.

17 Shall they, therefore, stretch out their net while continuing to slay the nations without pity?

I will stand upon my watch and set myself upon the tower, and will look and see what He would say to me, and what I shall answer to Him Who rebukes me.

Philippians 3:13-4:1

13 Brothers, I do not count myself as having seized it. But one thing I do: I forget that which is behind and stretch forward toward that which is ahead;

14 and follow hard toward the mark, for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

15 Let us, therefore (as many as are mature) be thus-minded. And if you are otherwise-minded, even this God shall reveal to you.

16 Nevertheless, to that which we have already attained, let us walk by one rule and be of the same mind.

17 Brothers, be imitators of me and observe those who also walk thus (as you have us for an example).

18 For many walk of whom I have often told you (and tell you now, weeping) who are the enemies of the cross of Christ;

19 whose end is destruction; whose God is their belly; and whose glory is in their knowledge of earthly things, to their shame.

20 But our citizenship is in Heaven, from where we also look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

21 He shall transform our humiliated body into a body conformed to His Glory, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Therefore, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and my crown, so continue in the Lord, beloved.

Matthew 23:13-24

13 “Therefore, woe to you, scribes and Pharisees. Hypocrites! Because you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven before man. For you yourselves do not go in, nor do you allow those who wish entrance to come in.

14 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, even under a pretense of long prayers. Therefore, you shall receive the greater damnation.

15 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, Hypocrites! For you traverse sea and land to make one proselyte. And when he is made, you make him twofold more a child of Hell than you yourselves!

16 “Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the Temple, it is nothing. But whoever swears by the gold of the Temple, he sins.’

17 “You fools, and blind! Which is greater, the gold or the Temple that sanctifies the gold?

18 “And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing. But whoever swears by the offering upon it, sins.’

19 “You fools, and blind! Which is greater, the offering or the altar which sanctifies the offering?

20 “Therefore, whoever swears by the altar, swears by it and by all things thereupon.

21 “And whoever swears by the Temple, swears by it and by Him Who dwells therein.

22 “And the one who swears by Heaven, swears by the throne of God and by Him Who sits thereupon.

23 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, Hypocrites! For you tithe mint and anise and cumin, and leave the weightier matters of the law, judgment, and mercy and fidelity. These you ought to have done, and not to have left the other.

24 You blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!
