Version
Psalm 118

118 Praise the LORD because He is good; for His mercy endures forever!

Let Israel now say, “His mercy endures forever!”

Let the House of Aaron now say, “His mercy endures forever!”

Let those who fear the LORD now say, “His mercy endures forever!”

I called upon the LORD in trouble; the LORD heard me and set me in a large place.

The LORD is with me. Therefore, I will not fear what man can do to me.

The LORD is with me among those who help me. Therefore, I shall see my desire upon my enemies.

It is better to trust in the LORD than to have confidence in man.

It is better to trust in the LORD than to have confidence in princes.

10 All nations have surrounded me; but in the Name of the LORD shall I destroy them.

11 They have surrounded me. Indeed, they have surrounded me; but in the Name of the LORD I shall destroy them.

12 They came around me like bees, but they were quenched as a fire of thorns; for in the Name of the LORD I shall destroy them.

13 You have thrust violently at me, so that I might fall; but the LORD has helped me.

14 The LORD is my strength and song; for He has been my deliverance.

15 The voice of joy and deliverance is in the tabernacles of the righteous. The right hand of the LORD has done valiantly.

16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted. The right hand of the LORD has done valiantly.

17 I shall not die, but live and declare the works of the LORD.

18 The LORD has chastened me severely; but He has not delivered me to death.

19 Open the gates of righteousness to me, so that I may go into them and praise the LORD.

20 This is the gate of the LORD. The righteous shall enter into it.

21 I will praise You; for You have heard me and have been my deliverance.

22 The Stone which the builders refused is the Head of the Corner.

23 This was the LORD’s doing. It is marvelous in our eyes,

24 This is the day the LORD has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

25 O LORD, I beg You, save now! O LORD, I beg You, give prosperity now!

26 Blessed is he who comes in the Name of the LORD! We have blessed you out of the House of the LORD.

27 The LORD is mighty and has given us light. Bind the sacrifice to the horns of the altar with cords.

28 You are my God, and I will praise You! You are my God; therefore, I will exalt You!

29 Praise the LORD because He is good; for His mercy endures forever.

Psalm 145

145 O my God and King, I will extol You, and will bless Your Name forever and ever.

I will bless You daily and praise Your Name forever and ever.

Great is the LORD, and most worthy to be praised. His greatness is incomprehensible.

Generation to generation shall praise Your works and declare Your power.

I will meditate on the beauty of Your glorious majesty and Your wonderful works.

And they shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, and I will declare Your greatness.

They shall break out into the mention of Your great goodness and shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.

The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger, and of great mercy.

The LORD is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works.

10 All Your works praise You, O LORD, and Your Saints bless You.

11 They show the glory of Your Kingdom, and speak of Your power,

12 to cause His power and the glorious renown of His Kingdom to be known to the sons of men.

13 Your Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all ages.

14 The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are ready to fall.

15 The eyes of all wait upon You, and You give them their food in due season.

16 You open Your hand and fulfill the desire of all living things.

17 The LORD is righteous in all His ways, and Holy in all His works.

18 The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.

19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.

20 The LORD preserves all those who love Him; but He will destroy the wicked.

21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD; and all flesh shall bless His Holy Name forever and ever. Praise the LORD.

Isaiah 19:19-25

19 On that day shall the Altar of the LORD be in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a Pillar to the LORD by its border.

20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness to the LORD of Hosts in the land of Egypt. For they shall cry to the LORD, because of the oppressors. And He shall send them a Savior, a Mighty One, and shall deliver them.

21 And the LORD shall be known to the Egyptians. And the Egyptians shall know the LORD on that day, and serve sacrifice and oblation, and shall vow vows to the LORD, and perform them.

22 So the LORD shall strike Egypt. He shall strike and heal it. For it shall return to the LORD. And He shall be entreated by them and shall heal them.

23 On that day there shall be a path from Egypt to Assyria. And Assyria shall come into Egypt, and Egypt into Assyria. So the Egyptians shall worship with Assyria.

24 On that day shall Israel be the third, with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the land.

25 For the LORD of Hosts shall bless it, saying, “Blessed be My people, Egypt and Assyria, the work of My hands, and Israel, My inheritance.”

Romans 15:5-13

Now may the God of endurance and encouragement grant that you be like-minded towards one another, according to Christ Jesus.

That you, with one mind and with one mouth, may praise God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, receive one another, as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.

Now, I say that Jesus Christ became a servant of the circumcision for the truth of God; to confirm the promises made to the Fathers.

And let the Gentiles praise God for His mercy. As it is written, “For this reason I will praise You among the Gentiles and sing to Your Name.”

10 And again He says, “Rejoice, you Gentiles, with His people!”

11 And again, “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! And laud Him, all you people!”

12 And again, Isaiah says, “There shall be a root of Jesse; and He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles. In Him shall the Gentiles trust.”

13 Now may the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing; that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Luke 19:11-27

11 And while they heard these things, He continued and spoke a parable (because He was near Jerusalem, and also because they thought that the Kingdom of God would shortly appear).

12 Therefore, He said, “A certain nobleman went into a distant country to receive a kingdom for himself and then to return.

13 “And he called his ten servants, and gave them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business until I come.’

14 “Now, his citizens hated him, and sent ambassadors after him, saying, ‘We will not have this man reign over us!’

15 “And it happened that when he had returned (and had received his kingdom) he commanded the servants to whom he had given his money be called to him, so that he might know what each had gained.

16 “Then the first came, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has increased to ten minas.’

17 “And he said to him, ‘Well, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little thing, take authority over ten cities!’

18 “And the second came, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has increased to five minas.’

19 “And to this one he said, ‘And you rule over five cities!’

20 “So the other came, and said, ‘Lord, behold your mina, which I have put away in a handkerchief.

21 ‘For I feared you because you are an exacting man. You take up what you did not lay down and reap what you did not sow.’

22 “Then he said to him, ‘From your own mouth will I judge you, O evil servant! You knew that I am an exacting man, taking up what I did not lay down and reaping what I did not sow.

23 ‘Why, then, did you not give my money to the bank, so that I might have required it with interest when I came?’

24 “And he said to those who stood by, ‘Take the mina from him and give it to him who has ten minas!’

25 “And they said to him, ‘Lord, he has ten minas.’

26 ‘For I say to you that to all those who have, it shall be given. And from the one who has not, even that he has shall be taken from him.

27 ‘Moreover, bring my enemies here who do not wish to have me reign over them and kill them before me!’”
