103 (A)Bless Yahweh, O my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His (B)holy name.
2 Bless Yahweh, O my soul,
And (C)forget none of His benefits;
3 Who (D)pardons all your iniquities,
Who (E)heals all your diseases;
4 Who (F)redeems your life from the pit,
Who (G)crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
5 Who (H)satisfies your [a]years with good things,
So that your youth is (I)renewed like the eagle.
6 Yahweh (J)performs righteous deeds
And judgments for all who are (K)oppressed.
7 He (L)made known His ways to Moses,
His (M)acts to the sons of Israel.
8 Yahweh is (N)compassionate and gracious,
(O)Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.
9 He (P)will not always contend with us,
And He will not (Q)keep His anger forever.
10 He has (R)not dealt with us according to our sins,
And He has not rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high (S)as the heavens are above the earth,
So great is His lovingkindness toward those who [b]fear Him.
12 As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He (T)removed our transgressions from us.
13 (U)As a father has compassion on his children,
So Yahweh has compassion on those who [c]fear Him.
14 For (V)He Himself knows [d]our form;
He (W)remembers that we are but (X)dust.
15 As for man, his days are (Y)like grass;
As a (Z)flower of the field, so he flowers.
16 When the (AA)wind has passed over it, it is no more,
And its (AB)place acknowledges it no longer.
17 But the (AC)lovingkindness of Yahweh is from everlasting to everlasting on those who [e]fear Him,
And His [f]righteousness (AD)to children’s children,
18 To (AE)those who keep His covenant
And remember His precepts to do them.
19 Yahweh has established His (AF)throne in the heavens,
And His (AG)kingdom rules over [g]all.
20 Bless Yahweh, you (AH)His angels,
(AI)Mighty in strength, who (AJ)perform His word,
(AK)Obeying the voice of His word!
21 Bless Yahweh, all you (AL)His hosts,
You (AM)who serve Him, doing His will.
22 Bless Yahweh, (AN)all you works of His,
In all places of His rule;
Bless Yahweh, O my soul!

Yahweh Is Gracious and Just
18 Therefore Yahweh (A)waits with longing to be gracious to you,
And therefore He is on (B)high to have compassion on you.
For Yahweh is a (C)God of justice;
How blessed are all those who (D)wait for Him.
19 [a]O people in Zion, (E)inhabitant in Jerusalem, you will (F)weep no longer. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will (G)answer you. 20 The Lord has given you (H)bread of distress and water of oppression; He, your Teacher will no longer (I)hide Himself, but your eyes will see your Teacher. 21 And your ears will hear a word behind you, “[b]This is the (J)way, walk in it,” whenever you (K)turn to the right or to the left.
36 Therefore let all the (A)house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both (B)Lord and [a]Christ—this Jesus (C)whom you crucified.”
About Three Thousand Souls Saved
37 Now when they heard this, they were [b]pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men, brothers, (D)what should we do?” 38 And Peter said to them, “(E)Repent, and each of you be (F)baptized in the name of Jesus Christ [c]for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For (G)the promise is for you and your children and for all who are (H)far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.” 40 And with many other words he solemnly (I)bore witness and kept on exhorting them, saying, “[d]Be saved from this (J)crooked generation!” 41 So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand (K)souls. 42 And they were (L)continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to (M)the breaking of bread and (N)to the prayers.
43 And fear came upon every soul; and many (O)wonders and [e]signs were taking place through the apostles. 44 And all those who had believed [f]were together and (P)had all things in common; 45 and they (Q)began selling their property and possessions and were (R)dividing them up with all, as anyone might have need. 46 (S)And daily devoting themselves with one accord in the temple and (T)breaking bread [g]from house to house, they were taking their [h]meals together with gladness and [i]sincerity of heart, 47 praising God and (U)having favor with all the people. And the Lord (V)was adding [j]to their number daily (W)those who were being saved.
15 “(A)If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another [a](B)Advocate, that He may be with you forever; 17 (C)the Spirit of truth, (D)whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him. You know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.
18 “I will not leave you as orphans; (E)I will come to you. 19 [b](F)After a little while (G)the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; (H)because I live, you will live also. 20 (I)On that day you will know that (J)I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 (K)He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and (L)he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will (M)disclose Myself to him.” 22 (N)Judas (not Iscariot) *said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened (O)that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “(P)If anyone loves Me, he will (Q)keep My word; and (R)My Father will love him, and We (S)will come to him and make Our dwelling with him. 24 He who does not love Me (T)does not keep My words; and (U)the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.
25 “These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you. 26 But the (V)Advocate, the Holy Spirit, (W)whom the Father will send in My name, (X)He will teach you all things, and (Y)bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. 27 (Z)Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. (AA)Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. 28 (AB)You heard that I said to you, ‘I go away, and (AC)I will come to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced because (AD)I go to the Father, for (AE)the Father is greater than I. 29 And now (AF)I have told you before it happens, so that when it happens, you may believe. 30 I will not speak much more with you, for (AG)the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me; 31 but so that the world may know that I love the Father, [c]I do exactly as (AH)the Father commanded Me.
