⁴¹ So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand ^(A)souls.

⁴ But many of those who had heard the ^[a]message believed, and ^(A)the number of the men came to be about five thousand.

¹⁴ And more than ever ^(A)believers in the Lord were ^(B)added to their number, multitudes of men and women,

6 Now in those days, while the ^(A)disciples were ^(B)multiplying in number, there was grumbling from the ^[a](C)Hellenists against the ^(D)Hebrews, because their ^(E)widows were being overlooked in ^(F)the daily serving of food.

^7 (A)And the word of God kept on spreading, and ^(B)the number of the disciples continued to multiply greatly in Jerusalem, and a great ^[a]many of the priests were becoming obedient to ^(C)the faith.

³¹ So ^(A)the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria was having peace, being built up. And going on in the fear of the Lord and in the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, it continued to multiply.

³⁵ And all who lived at ^[a](A)Lydda and ^(B)Sharon saw him, and they ^(C)turned to the Lord.

⁴² And it became known all over ^(A)Joppa, and ^(B)many believed in the Lord.

²¹ And ^(A)the hand of the Lord was with them, and ^(B)a large number who believed turned to the Lord.
