  1. Many Healed After Sabbath Sunset

    At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon-possessed.
  2. Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him.
  3. Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them.
  4. Now it happened, as He was dining in Levi’s house, that many tax collectors and sinners also sat together with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many, and they followed Him.
  5. and Jerusalem and Idumea and beyond the Jordan; and those from Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they heard how many things He was doing, came to Him.
  6. For He healed many, so that as many as had afflictions pressed about Him to touch Him.

  12. And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.
  13. for Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just and holy man, and he protected him. And when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.
  14. And He said to them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.
  15. But the multitudes saw them departing, and many knew Him and ran there on foot from all the cities. They arrived before them and came together to Him.
  16. And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things.
  17. But He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they found out they said, “Five, and two fish.”
  18. Many Touch Him and Are Made Well

    When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret and anchored there.
  19. Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well.
  20. When they come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they wash. And there are many other things which they have received and hold, like the washing of cups, pitchers, copper vessels, and couches.
  21. For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men— the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.”
  22. making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do.”
  23. He asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven.”
  24. When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up?” They said to Him, “Twelve.”
  25. “Also, when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of fragments did you take up?” And they said, “Seven.”
