  1. But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Get ready and go south to the road that descends from Jerusalem to Gaza.” (This is a desert road.)

  10. The Church in Antioch

    So then those who were scattered because of the persecution that occurred in connection with Stephen made their way to Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except to Jews alone.
  11. But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who came to Antioch and began speaking to the Greeks as well, preaching the good news of the Lord Jesus.

  18. Acceptance and Opposition

    In Iconium they entered the synagogue of the Jews together, and spoke in such a way that a large number of people believed, both of Jews and of Greeks.
  19. Therefore they spent a long time there speaking boldly with reliance upon the Lord, who was testifying to the word of His grace, granting that signs and wonders be performed by their hands.
  20. This man was listening to Paul as he spoke. Paul looked at him intently and saw that he had faith to be made well,
  21. And they began calling Barnabas, Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, since he was the chief speaker.
  22. When they had spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia.
  23. James’ Judgment

    After they stopped speaking, James responded, saying, “Brothers, listen to me.
