The Passover
Now the Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

“Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘If any one of you or of your generations becomes unclean because of a dead person, or is on a distant journey, he may, however, celebrate the Passover to the Lord.

The Silver Trumpets
The Lord spoke further to Moses, saying,
-
Then I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take away some of the Spirit who is upon you, and put Him upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, so that you will not bear it by yourself.

Then the Lord came down in the cloud and spoke to him; and He took away some of the Spirit who was upon him and placed Him upon the seventy elders. And when the Spirit rested upon them, they prophesied. Yet they did not do it again.

The Murmuring of Miriam and Aaron
Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married (for he had married a Cushite woman);

and they said, “Is it a fact that the Lord has spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us as well?” And the Lord heard this.

He said, “Now hear My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, will make Myself known to him in a vision. I will speak with him in a dream.
-
With him I speak mouth to mouth, That is, openly, and not using mysterious language, And he beholds the form of the Lord. So why were you not afraid To speak against My servant, against Moses?”

Spies View the Land
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

and they spoke to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, saying, “The land which we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land.

The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron again, saying,
-
Say to them, ‘As I live,’ declares the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you;
-
I, the Lord, have spoken, I certainly will do this to all this evil congregation who are gathered together against Me. They shall be worn out in this wilderness, and there they shall die.’”

Israel Repulsed
Now when Moses spoke these words to all the sons of Israel, the people mourned greatly.

Laws for Canaan
Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

“Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter the land where you are going to live, which I am giving you,

“Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter the land where I am bringing you,

‘But when you unintentionally do wrong and fail to comply with all these commandments which the Lord has spoken to Moses,

The Lord also spoke to Moses, saying,

“Speak to the sons of Israel and tell them that they shall make for themselves tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and that they shall put on the tassel of each corner a violet thread.
