¹¹ You turned my wailing^(A) into dancing;^(B)
    you removed my sackcloth^(C) and clothed me with joy,^(D)

⁴ I will build you up again,
    and you, Virgin^(A) Israel, will be rebuilt.^(B)
Again you will take up your timbrels^(C)
    and go out to dance^(D) with the joyful.^(E)

⁴     a time to weep and a time to laugh,
    a time to mourn and a time to dance,

⁸     he will swallow up death^(A) forever.
The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears^(B)
    from all faces;
he will remove his people’s disgrace^(C)
    from all the earth.
The Lord has spoken.^(D)

⁴ praise him with timbrel and dancing,^(A)
    praise him with the strings^(B) and pipe,^(C)

³ Let them praise his name with dancing^(A)
    and make music to him with timbrel and harp.^(B)

⁷ Fill my heart^(A) with joy^(B)
    when their grain and new wine^(C) abound.
