⁵ The mountains ^(A)melt like ^(B)wax before the Lord,
    before ^(C)the Lord of all the earth.

^5 (A)The mountains quake before him;
    ^(B)the hills melt;
the earth heaves before him,
    ^(C)the world and all who dwell in it.

³ For behold, ^(A)the Lord is coming out of ^(B)his place,
    and will come down and ^(C)tread upon the high places of the earth.
⁴ And ^(D)the mountains will melt under him,
    and the valleys will split open,
like wax before the fire,
    like waters poured down a steep place.

¹⁹ The earth is utterly broken,
    the earth is split apart,
    the earth is violently shaken.
²⁰ The earth ^(A)staggers like a drunken man;
    it sways like a hut;
^(B)its transgression lies heavy upon it,
    and it falls, and will not rise again.

² For the Lord, the Most High, ^(A)is to be feared,
    ^(B)a great king over all the earth.
