The High Priestly Prayer

17 When Jesus had spoken these words, ^(A)he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, ^(B)the hour has come; ^(C)glorify your Son that the Son may ^(D)glorify you, ² since ^(E)you have given him authority over all flesh, ^(F)to give eternal life to all ^(G)whom you have given him. ^3 (H)And this is eternal life, ^(I)that they know you, ^(J)the only ^(K)true God, and ^(L)Jesus Christ whom you have sent. ⁴ I ^(M)glorified you on earth, ^(N)having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. ⁵ And now, Father, ^(O)glorify me in your own presence with the glory ^(P)that I had with you ^(Q)before the world existed.

I Never Knew You

^21 (A)“Not everyone who ^(B)says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will ^(C)enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who ^(D)does the will of my Father who is in heaven. ^22 (E)On that day ^(F)many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not ^(G)prophesy in your name, and cast out demons ^(H)in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ ^23 (I)And then will I declare to them, ‘I ^(J)never knew you; ^(K)depart from me, ^(L)you workers of lawlessness.’

^14 (A)I am the good shepherd. ^(B)I know my own and ^(C)my own know me,

^27 (A)My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. ^28 (B)I give them eternal life, and ^(C)they will never perish, and ^(D)no one will snatch them out of my hand. ²⁹ My Father, ^(E)who has given them to me,^{[a] (F)}is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of ^(G)the Father's hand.

The Word Became Flesh

1 ^(A)In the beginning was ^(B)the Word, and ^(C)the Word was with God, and ^(D)the Word was God. ² He was in the beginning with God. ^3 (E)All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

^6 (A)who, though he was in ^(B)the form of God, did not count equality with God ^(C)a thing to be grasped,^{[a] 7} but ^(D)emptied himself, by taking the form of a ^(E)servant,^{[b] (F)}being born in the likeness of men. ⁸ And being found in human form, he humbled himself by ^(G)becoming obedient to the point of death, ^(H)even death on a cross. ^9 (I)Therefore ^(J)God has ^(K)highly exalted him and bestowed on him ^(L)the name that is above every name, ¹⁰ so that at the name of Jesus ^(M)every knee should bow, ^(N)in heaven and on earth and under the earth, ¹¹ and ^(O)every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is ^(P)Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
