    Was your anger against the rivers,
    ^(B)or your indignation against the sea,
^(C)when you rode on your horses,
    ^(D)on your chariot of salvation?

^17 (A)The chariots of God are twice ten thousand,
    thousands upon thousands;
    the Lord is among them; Sinai is now in the sanctuary.

¹⁰ He rode on a cherub and flew;
    he came swiftly on ^(A)the wings of the wind.

^15 (A)You trampled the sea with your horses,
    the surging of mighty waters.

^2 (A)Why, when I came, was there no man;
    why, when I called, was there no one to answer?
^(B)Is my hand shortened, that it cannot redeem?
    Or have I no power to deliver?
^(C)Behold, by my rebuke ^(D)I dry up the sea,
    ^(E)I make the rivers a desert;
^(F)their fish stink for lack of water
    and die of thirst.

³ He ^(A)lays the beams of his ^(B)chambers on the waters;
he makes ^(C)the clouds his chariot;
    he rides on ^(D)the wings of the wind;
