²³ And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put into his mind.

¹⁷ But ^(A)the wisdom from above is first pure, then ^(B)peaceable, gentle, open to reason, ^(C)full of mercy and good fruits, ^(D)impartial and ^(E)sincere.

^5 (A)If any of you lacks wisdom, ^(B)let him ask God, ^(C)who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

³⁴ And people of all nations came to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and from ^(A)all the kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.

¹⁶ Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers. ^17 (A)Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from ^(B)the Father of lights, ^(C)with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.^[a]

¹⁷ that ^(A)the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, ^(B)may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,

⁸ For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of ^(A)wisdom, and to another the utterance of ^(B)knowledge according to the same Spirit,

³⁰ And because of him^[a] you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us ^(A)wisdom from God, ^(B)righteousness and ^(C)sanctification and ^(D)redemption,

¹⁵ for ^(A)I will give you a mouth and ^(B)wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or ^(C)contradict.
