19 耶稣进了耶利哥，从城里经过。 2 那里有一个叫撒该的税吏长，非常有钱。 3 他很想看看耶稣是怎样的一个人。可是，因为他身材矮小，所以人群总是挡着他的视线。 4 无奈，他只好跑到人们前头，在耶稣将要经过的那条路上，爬上了路边的一棵桑树，以便能够看到耶稣。耶稣走到那棵树下时，抬起头对撒该说： 5 “撒该，赶快下来吧，我今天要住在你家里。”
6 于是撒该赶紧从树上下来，满心欢喜地迎接耶稣的到来。 7 人们看到这个情景，就开始抱怨道∶“耶稣竟然到罪人家做客！”
8 撒该垂手直立在耶稣的面前，对主说∶“主啊，您看，我将把我财产的一半分给穷人，如果我骗取了谁的东西的话，我会多还给他四倍的东西。”
9 耶稣对他说∶“今天，拯救光顾了这所房子，因为这个人也是亚伯拉罕的儿子。 10 因为人子来到这里，是要寻找和挽救迷失的人们的。”
利用上帝赐给你的东西
11 人们正在听这些话时，耶稣继续给他们讲寓言，因为他已接近耶路撒冷了，而且也因为人们认为上帝王国马上就要来临了。 12 耶稣说∶“从前，一个贵族人要到很远的一个国家去领受封王的任命，然后回来统治他的子民。 13 临走之前，他叫来他仆人中的十个人，交给他们每个人一袋钱，说∶‘你们用这些钱去做买卖，直到我回来。’ 14 他的公民都非常恨他，他们便打发使者随后去说∶‘我们不要这个人做我们的王！’ 15 但是，他还是被封了王，并返回了家乡。他派人叫来了那几个拿着他的钱的仆人，想知道他们赚了多少利润。 16 第一个仆人走过来，说∶‘主人啊，我用您给我的那袋钱赚了十袋钱。’ 17 主人便对他说∶‘干得很好，我的好仆人，因为你在小事上能令人信赖，那么我要委派你掌管十座城。’ 18 第二个仆人过来说∶‘主人，我用你的钱赚了五袋的钱。’ 19 主人便对他说∶‘那么你来掌管五个城。’ 20 然后，第三个仆人过来说∶‘主人，这是你的钱，我用手帕把它包起来藏着。 21 我很害怕你，因为你是个苛刻的人。你掠夺别人挣来的钱，收获别人种好的庄稼。’ 22 主人对他说∶‘你这个恶仆，我要用你说的话来定你的罪。既然你说，你知道我是个苛刻的人，掠夺别人挣来的钱、收获别人种好的庄稼， 23 那么，你为什么不把我的钱存到银行里去呢？要是那样的话，我回来时还可以得到利息呢！’ 24 他对站在旁边的人说∶‘把他手里那袋钱拿过来，把它交给有十袋钱的那个仆人。’ 25 他们对他说∶‘主人，他已经有了十袋钱了！’ 26 主人回答道∶‘我告诉你们吧：那赢利的人将得到更多；没有赢利的人，甚至连他所有的一切也会被拿走。 27 但是，对我的敌人来说，既然他们不愿意让我做他们的王，就把他们都带来，在我面前把他们杀掉。’”
耶稣像王一样进入耶路撒冷
28 说完这些话后，耶稣继续向耶路撒冷走去。 29 当他们来到橄榄山附近的城镇伯法其和伯大尼时，耶稣派出两名门徒，对他们说： 30 “你们到前边的那个村子里去，一进村，你们就会看到一匹驴驹拴在那里，它从未被人骑过。你们解开缰绳，把它牵到我这里来。 31 如果有人问你们∶‘你们为什么要解开它的缰绳？’你们就说∶‘主需要它。’”
32 被派去的两个门徒去了，他们发现一切正如耶稣告诉他们的那样。 33 他们解驴驹时，它的主人们说∶“你们为什么解驴驹？”
34 他们答道∶“主需要它。” 35 然后他们把它牵到了耶稣面前，他们把自己的衣服铺在驴驹的背上，又把耶稣扶了上去。 36 耶稣骑驴朝耶路撒冷走时，人们把衣服铺在路上。
37 耶稣向耶路撒冷走近，他已到橄榄山下坡附近，门徒们都因为他们所看到的奇迹，兴高采烈地高声赞美着上帝。
38 他们说：
“愿奉主的名义而来的君王得到祝福！
愿天上和平，愿荣耀属于至高无上的上帝！”
39 人群中有一些法利赛人却对耶稣说∶“老师，吩咐你的门徒们不要说这些话吧！”
40 可耶稣却回答说∶“我告诉你们吧，如果他们不作声，这些石头都会喊叫起来！”
耶稣为耶路撒冷而落泪
41 耶稣他们走近了耶路撒冷城，他看到此城，就为它痛哭起来， 42 他说∶“但愿今天你们知道什么将给你们带来和平，但是现在，它却向你们隐藏着。 43 那些日子将要降临到你们身上，你的敌人会在你的周围筑起壁障，他们将把你包围起来，从四面八方围困你， 44 他们会消灭城里的你和你们所有的人，将你的城池夷为平地，这是因为你们不曾认出上帝的时代来到了你们的身边。”
耶稣去大殿。
45 耶稣走进大殿院里把在那里做买卖的人都赶了出来， 46 对他们说∶“《经》上记载着∶‘我的大殿将是祷告的大殿。’ [a]可是你们却把它变成贼窝了！” [b]
47 耶稣每天在大殿院里教导人们。祭司长、律法师和人们的首领都在设法要杀害他， 48 可是他们找不到杀害他的办法来，因为所有的百姓都听耶稣的话。

19 ଯୀଶୁ ଯିରୀହୋ ନଗର ଦେଇ ଯାଉଥିଲେ। 2 ଯିରୀହୋରେ ଜଖିୟ ବୋଲି ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ଥିଲେ। ସେ ଜଣେ ପ୍ରଧାନ କରଆଦାୟକାରୀ ଥିଲେ ଓ ସେ ବହୁତ ଧନୀ ଥିଲେ। 3 ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ଗ୍ଭହୁଁଥିଲେ। ଆହୁରି ମଧ୍ୟ ଅନେକ ଲୋକ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ଗ୍ଭହୁଁଥିଲେ। ଜଖିୟ ଏତେ ବାଙ୍ଗରା ଥିଲେ ଯେ, ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଭିତରେ ଥାଇ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ପାରିବା ସମ୍ଭବ ନ ଥିଲା। 4 ତେଣୁ ଯେଉଁବାଟେ ଯୀଶୁ ଆସିବେ ବୋଲି ସେ ଜାଣିଥିଲେ, ସେଭଳି ଗୋଟିଏ ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ସେ ଦୌଡ଼ିଗଲେ। ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ପାରିବା ପାଇଁ ସେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଡିମ୍ବିରିଗଛରେ ଚଢ଼ିଗଲେ।
5 ଯୀଶୁ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ସେ ଉପରକୁ ଗ୍ଭହିଁଲେ, ସେ ଜଖିୟଙ୍କୁ ଗଛ ଉପରେ ଦେଖିଲେ। ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଜଖିୟ! ଶୀଘ୍ର ତଳକୁ ଆସ, ମୁଁ ଆଜି ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଘରେ ରହିବି।”
6 ତା'ପରେ ଜଖିୟ ଖୁବ୍ ଶୀଘ୍ର ତଳକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆସିଲେ। ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଖୁସୀରେ ସେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ନିଜ ଘରେ ସ୍ୱାଗତ କଲେ। 7 ସମସ୍ତେ ଏ କଥା ଦେଖିଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ, “ଦେଖ, କେଉଁ ଭଳି ଲୋକ ସହିତ ଯୀଶୁ ରହୁଛନ୍ତି। ଜଖିୟ ଗୋଟିଏ ପାପୀ।”
8 ଜଖିୟ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ମୁଁ ଭଲ କାମ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଛି। ମୁଁ ମୋ’ ଧନର ଅଧା ଗରିବଙ୍କୁ ବାଣ୍ଟି ଦେବି। ମୁଁ ଯଦି କାହାରିକୁ ଠକିଥାଏ, ତେବେ ସେହି ଲୋକକୁ ଗ୍ଭରି ଗୁଣ ଧନ ଫେରାଇ ଦେବି।”
9 ଯୀଶୁ କହିଲେ, “ଏ ଲୋକଟି ପ୍ରକୃତରେ ଜଣେ ଭଲ ମଣିଷ। ସେ ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କର ଉପଯୁକ୍ତ ସନ୍ତାନ। ତେଣୁ ଆଜି ସେ ନିଜ ପାପରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇଗଲେ। 10 ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର ହଜି ଯାଇଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଖୋଜିବାକୁ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ଆସିଛନ୍ତି।
ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯାହା ଦିଅନ୍ତି ତାହା ଉପଯୁକ୍ତ ଭାବରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର କର

11 ଯୀଶୁ ଯିରୁଶାଲମର ପାଖାପାଖି ଆସିଗଲେ। କେତେକ ଲୋକ ଭାବିଲେ ଯେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଆସିଯିବ। 12 ଲୋକମାନେ ଏହି କଥା ଭାବୁଥିବା ଯୀଶୁ ଜାଣି ପାରିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତଟି କହିଲେ: “ଜଣେ ଅତି ମାନ୍ୟଗନ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ରାଜା ହେବା ପାଇଁ କୌଣସି ଏକ ଦୂର ରାଜ୍ୟକୁ ଯିବାକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହେଉଥିଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ସେ ଫେରି ଆସି ନିଜ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଶାସନ କରିବାକୁ ଯୋଜନା କଲେ। 13 ସେ ନିଜର ଦଶ ଜଣ ଗ୍ଭକରଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିଲେ। ସେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଗ୍ଭକରଙ୍କୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଗୋଟିଏ ଟଙ୍କା ଥଳି ଦେଲେ। ସେ କହିଲେ, ‘ମୁଁ ଫେରିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଏହି ଟଙ୍କାରେ ବ୍ୟବସାୟ କର।’ 14 ସେହି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ସେ ରାଜ୍ୟର ନାଗରିକମାନେ ଘୃଣା କରୁଥିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଛରେ ଦଳେ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସେଠାକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ସେଠାକୁ ଯାଇ ଏହି ଦଳର ଲୋକମାନେ କହିଲେ, ‘ଆମ୍ଭେ ଗ୍ଭହୁଁନା ଯେ, ସେହି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ରାଜା ହୁଅନ୍ତୁ।’
15 “ତଥାପି ସେ ରାଜା ହୋଇଗଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ସେ ଘରକୁ ଫେରି ଆସିଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ସେ କହିଲେ, ‘ଯେଉଁ ଗ୍ଭକରମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୁଁ ମୋର ଟଙ୍କା ଦେଇଥିଲି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡାକ, ମୁଁ ଜାଣିବାକୁ ଗ୍ଭହୁଁଛି ଯେ, ସେହି ଟଙ୍କାରେ ସେମାନେ ଆଉ କେତେ ଅଧିକ ଲାଭ କରିଛନ୍ତି।’ 16 ପ୍ରଥମେ ଗ୍ଭକର ଜଣକ ଆସି କହିଲା, ‘ଆଜ୍ଞା, ଆପଣ ମୋତେ ଦେଇଥିବା ଟଙ୍କା ଥଳିଟିକୁ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ମୁଁ ଦଶ ଥଳି ଅଧିକ ଟଙ୍କା ଅର୍ଜନ କରିଛି।’ 17 ରାଜା ଗ୍ଭକରମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ବହୁତ ଭଲ କଥା। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜଣେ ଭଲ ଗ୍ଭକର। ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଛୋଟ ଛୋଟ ବିଷୟରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରାଯାଇ ପାରିବ ବୋଲି ମୁଁ ଜାଣୁଛି। ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମୋର ଦଶଟି ନଗର ଶାସନ କରିବାକୁ ଦେବି।’
18 “ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ଗ୍ଭକରଟି ଆସିଲା ଓ କହିଲା, ‘ଆଜ୍ଞା, ଆପଣ ଦେଇଥିବା ଟଙ୍କା ଥଳିକୁ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ପାଞ୍ଚ ଥଳି ଟଙ୍କା ଅର୍ଜନ କରିଛି।’ 19 ରାଜା ସେହି ଗ୍ଭକରଟିକୁ କହିଲେ, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପାଞ୍ଚୋଟି ନଗର ଉପରେ ଶାସନ କରିବ।’
20 “ତା'ପରେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଗ୍ଭକରଟି ଭିତରକୁ ଆସିଲା। ସେ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲା, ‘ଆଜ୍ଞା, ଏହି ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଟଙ୍କା ଥଳି। ମୁଁ ଖଣ୍ଡେ କନାରେ ଏହାକୁ ଗୁଡ଼ାଇ ରଖିଥିଲି। 21 ଆପଣ ଜଣେ କଠୋର ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ହୋଇଥିବାରୁ ମୁଁ ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିଥିଲି। ଏପରିକି ଆପଣ ନିଜେ ଅର୍ଜନ କରି ନ ଥିବା ଟଙ୍କା ନେଇଥା’ନ୍ତି ଓ ନିଜେ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କରି ନ ଥିବା ଖାଦ୍ୟଶସ୍ୟ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିଥା’ନ୍ତି।’
22 “ତା'ପରେ ରାଜା ସେହି ଗ୍ଭକରକୁ କହିଲେ, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜଣେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଗ୍ଭକର। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋ’ ପ୍ରତି ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିଥିବା ଭାଷାରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭରି ବିଗ୍ଭର କରିବି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିଛ ଯେ, ମୁଁ ଜଣେ କଠୋର ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି। ପୁଣି କହିଛ ଯେ ମୁଁ ଅର୍ଜନ ନ କରି ଟଙ୍କା ନିଏ ଓ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ନ କରି ମଧ୍ୟ ଖାଦ୍ୟଶସ୍ୟ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରେ।’ 23 ଯଦି ଏ କଥା ସତ୍ୟ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋ’ ଟଙ୍କା ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କରେ ଜମା ରଖି ପାରିଥା’ନ୍ତ ତା'ହେଲେ ମୁଁ ଫେରି ଆସିଲା ବେଳକୁ ମୋ’ ଟଙ୍କାରେ କିଛି ସୁଧ ଅର୍ଜ୍ଜନ କରାଯାଇ ପାରିଥା’ନ୍ତା 24 ସେଠାରେ ରହି ଏସବୁ ଦେଖୁଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ରାଜା କହିଲେ, ‘ଏ ଗ୍ଭକର ପାଖରୁ ଟଙ୍କା ଥଳିଟି ନେଇ ଯାଇ ଦଶ ଥଳି ଟଙ୍କା ଅର୍ଜନ କରିଥିବା ଗ୍ଭକରକୁ ଦେଇଦିଅ।”
25 “ଲୋକମାନେ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “କିନ୍ତୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା, ସେ ଗ୍ଭକରଟି ପାଖରେ ତ ଆଗରୁ ଦଶ ଥଳି ଟଙ୍କା ଅଛି।’
26 “ରାଜା କହିଲେ, ‘ଯଦି ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ତା’ ପାଖରେ ଯାହା ଅଛି ତାହାର ବ୍ୟବହାର କରେ ତେବେ ସେ ଆହୁରି ଅଧିକ ପାଇବ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ତା’ ପାଖରେ ଯେତିକି ଅଛି, ତାହା ବ୍ୟବହାର କରେନି ତା'ଠାରୁ ତାହା ମଧ୍ୟ ଛଡ଼େଇ ନିଆଯିବ। 27 ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ମୋର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ କାହାନ୍ତି? ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ରାଜା ନ ହୁଏ ବୋଲି ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଗ୍ଭହୁଁଥିଲେ। ସେମାନେ କାହାନ୍ତି? ମୋ’ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏଠାକୁ ଆଣ। ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋ’ ଆଖି ଆଗରେ ମାରିଦିଅ।’”
ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ଯିରୁଶାଲମ ପ୍ରବେଶ
(ମାଥିଉ 21:1-11; ମାର୍କ 11:1-11; ଯୋହନ 12:12-19)
28 ଯୀଶୁ ଏସବୁ କହି ସାରିବା ପରେ ଯିରୁଶାଲମ ଆଡ଼କୁ ଯାତ୍ରା ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ। 29 ଜୀତପର୍ବତ ପାଖ ବେଥ୍ଫାଗୀ ଓ ବେଥନୀୟା ନଗର ପାଖକୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଆସିଗଲେ। ଯୀଶୁ ନିଜର ଦୁଇଜଣ ଶିଷ୍ୟଙ୍କୁ ଏହା କହି ପଠାଇଲେ, 30 “ଆଗରେ ଯେଉଁ ଗାଁ ଦେଖାଯାଉଛି, ସେଠାକୁ ଯାଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗାଁରେ ପଶିବା ମାତ୍ରେ ସେଠାରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଗଧଛୁଆ ବନ୍ଧା ହୋଇଥିବାର ଦେଖିବ। ସେହି ଗଧ ଉପରେ କେହି କେବେ ହେଲେ ଚଢ଼ି ନ ଥିବେ। ତାକୁ ଖୋଲି ଦେଇ ମୋ’ ପାଖକୁ ଆଣିବ। 31 ଯଦି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପଗ୍ଭରେ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗଧଟିକୁ କାହିଁକି ନେଇ ଯାଉଛ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କହିବ ଯେ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏଇଟି ଦରକାର ଅଛି।’”
32 ଦୁଇଜଣ ଶିଷ୍ୟ ସେହି ଗାଁକୁ ଗଲେ, ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଭଳି କହିଥିଲେ, ଠିକ୍ ସେହି ଅନୁସାରେ ସେମାନେ ଗଧଟିକୁ ପାଇଗଲେ। 33 ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଗଧଟିକୁ ଫିଟାଉଥିବା ସମୟରେ ଗଧଟିର ମାଲିକମାନେ ବାହାରି ଆସିଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଗ୍ଭରିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗଧଟିକୁ କାହିଁକି ଫିଟାଉଛ?”
34 ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ କହିଲେ, “ଏହାଠାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଦରକାର ଅଛି।” 35 ତା'ପରେ ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଗଧଟିକୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆଣିଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଗଧ ପିଠି ଉପରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଲୁଗା ପକେଇଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ସେମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଗଧ ଉପରେ ବସାଇଲେ। 36 ଯୀଶୁ ଗଧ ଉପରେ ବସି ଯିରୁଶାଲମ ଆଡ଼କୁ ଯାତ୍ରା କଲେ। ଲୋକମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଆଗରେ ରାସ୍ତା ଉପରେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଲୁଗା ବିଛାଇ ଦେଲେ।
37 ଯୀଶୁ ଯିରୁଶାଲମର ପାଖ ହୋଇ ଆସୁଥିଲେ, ସେ ଜୀତପର୍ବତର ପାଦଦେଶ ନିକଟରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲେ। ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର ସମୁଦାୟ ଶିଷ୍ୟଦଳ ଖୁସୀ ଥିଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱରରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଗାନ କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଯେଉଁସବୁ ଶକ୍ତିର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟମାନ ଦେଖୁଥିଲେ, ସେଥିପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସ୍ତୁତିଗାନ କଲେ। ସେମାନେ କହିଲେ, 38 “ସ୍ୱାଗତ କରି କହିଲେ:
“‘ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ଯେଉଁ ରାଜା ଆସୁଛନ୍ତି, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରନ୍ତୁ।’(A)
ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଶାନ୍ତି ଓ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ମହିମା ହେଉ।”
39 ଜନଗହଳିରେ କେତେ ଜଣ ରହିଥିବା ଫାରୂଶୀ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ଗୁରୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏ ସବୁ କଥା ନ କହିବାକୁ କୁହ।”
40 କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ କହିଲେ, “ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଛି, ଏସବୁ କଥା ନିଶ୍ଚୟ କୁହାଯିବ। ଯଦି ମୋର ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ଏସବୁ କଥା ନ କୁହନ୍ତି। ତାହାହେଲେ ଏ ପଥର ସବୁ ପାଟି କରି ତାହା ସବୁ କହିବେ।”
ଯିରୁଶାଲମ ପାଇଁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କର କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ
41 ଯୀଶୁ ଯିରୁଶାଲମ ପାଖରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲେ। ଯୀଶୁ ଯିରୁଶାଲମ ନଗରକୁ ଦେଖି ତା’ ପାଇଁ କାନ୍ଦି ପକାଇଲେ। 42 ଯୀଶୁ ଯିରୁଶାଲମକୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କିପରି ଶାନ୍ତି ମିଳି ପାରିବ, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆଜି ଅନ୍ତତଃ ଜାଣି ପାରନ୍ତ! କିନ୍ତୁ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଖରୁ ଗୁପ୍ତ ରଖା ଯାଇଛି। 43 ତୁମ୍ଭ ସକାଶେ ଏପରି ସମୟ ଆସୁଛି। ଯେତେବେଳେ କି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗ୍ଭରିପଟେ ଗୋଟିଏ ପାଚେରୀ ତିଆରି କରିଦେବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଫେରିଯାଇ ଅବରୋଧ କରିବେ। 44 ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନଷ୍ଟ କରିଦେବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭ କୋଠାଗୁଡ଼ିକର ଗୋଟିଏ ହେଲେ ପଥର ଅନ୍ୟ ପଥରଟି ଉପରେ ସେମାନେ ରଖେଇ ଦେବେ ନାହିଁ। ଏସବୁ ଘଟିବ। କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯେତେବେଳେ ଆସିଥିଲେ, ସେ ସମୟଟିକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଚିହ୍ନି ପାରିଲ ନାହିଁ।”
ଯୀଶୁ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଯାଆନ୍ତି

45 ଯୀଶୁ ମନ୍ଦିର ଭିତରକୁ ଗଲେ। ସେ ମନ୍ଦିର ପରିସର ଭିତରେ କିଣା ବିକା କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାହାର କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। 46 ଯୀଶୁ କହିଲେ, “ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରରେ ଲେଖାଅଛି: ‘ମୋ’ ଗୃହ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାଗୃହ ହେବ।’(B) କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏହାକୁ ଗ୍ଭେରମାନଙ୍କ ଆଡ୍ଡ଼ାସ୍ଥଳି କରି ଦେଇଛ।’”
47 ଯୀଶୁ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ଉପଦେଶ ଦେଉଥିଲେ। ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକ, ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଯିହୂଦୀ ନେତାମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଜୀବନରେ ମାରି ଦେବାକୁ ଗ୍ଭହୁଁଥିଲେ। 48 କିନ୍ତୁ ସବୁ ଲୋକ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଉପଦେଶ ମନଧ୍ୟାନ ଦେଇ ଶୁଣୁଥିଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ କଥାପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରବଳ ଆଗ୍ରହ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରୁଥିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକ, ଧର୍ମଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଓ ଯିହୂଦୀ ନେତାମାନେ କ’ଣ କରିବେ ବୋଲି କିଛି ସ୍ଥିର କରି ପାରୁ ନ ଥିଲେ।

2 And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.
3 And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.
4 And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.
5 And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.
6 And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
7 And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.
8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
19 And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.
20 And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
21 For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.
22 And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:
23 Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
24 And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.
25 (And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.)
26 For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

30 Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.
31 And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
32 And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
33 And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?
34 And they said, The Lord hath need of him.
35 And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.
36 And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.
37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
47 And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,

Jesus Comes to Zacchaeus’ House

The Parable of the Minas(J)
11 Now as they heard these things, He spoke another parable, because He was near Jerusalem and because (K)they thought the kingdom of God would appear immediately. 12 (L)Therefore He said: “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. 13 So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten [e]minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’ 14 (M)But his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We will not have this man to reign over us.’

The Triumphal Entry(T)
28 When He had said this, (U)He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. 29 (V)And it came to pass, when He drew near to [g]Bethphage and (W)Bethany, at the mountain called (X)Olivet, that He sent two of His disciples, 30 saying, “Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose it and bring it here. 31 And if anyone asks you, ‘Why are you loosing it?’ thus you shall say to him, ‘Because the Lord has need of it.’ ”
32 So those who were sent went their way and found it just (Y)as He had said to them. 33 But as they were loosing the colt, the owners of it said to them, “Why are you loosing the colt?”
34 And they said, “The Lord has need of him.” 35 Then they brought him to Jesus. (Z)And they threw their own clothes on the colt, and they set Jesus on him. 36 And as He went, many spread their clothes on the road.
37 Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to (AA)rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen, 38 saying:
(AB)“ ‘Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!’
(AC)Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
39 And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.”
40 But He answered and said to them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, (AD)the stones would immediately cry out.”
Jesus Weeps over Jerusalem
41 Now as He drew near, He saw the city and (AE)wept over it, 42 saying, “If you had known, even you, especially in this (AF)your day, the things that (AG)make for your (AH)peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. 43 For days will come upon you when your enemies will (AI)build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, 44 (AJ)and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and (AK)they will not leave in you one stone upon another, (AL)because you did not know the time of your visitation.”
Jesus Cleanses the Temple(AM)
45 (AN)Then He went into the temple and began to drive out those who [h]bought and sold in it, 46 saying to them, “It is written, (AO)‘My house [i]is a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a (AP)‘den of thieves.’ ”
47 And He (AQ)was teaching daily in the temple. But (AR)the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people sought to destroy Him, 48 and were unable to do anything; for all the people were very attentive to (AS)hear Him.
