27 В началото на царуването на Юдовия цар Иоаким, Иосиевия син, дойде това слово от Господа към Еремия и рече:
2 Така ми казва Господ: Направи си ремъци и дървени части на хомот, и тури ги на врата си;
3 и прати ги на едомския цар, на моавския цар, на царя на амонците, на тирския цар, и на сидонския цар чрез ръката на ония посланици, които са дошли в Ерусалим при Юдовия цар Седекия;
4 и дай им заръка за господарите им, като речеш - Така казва Господ на Силите, Израилевият Бог: Така да кажете на господарите си -
5 Аз чрез голямата Си сила и чрез простряната Си мишца съм направил земята, както човека и животните, които са по лицето на земята; и давам я на когото благоволя.
6 И сега дадох всички тия земи в ръката на слугата Си Навуходоносора, вавилонският цар; тоже и полските зверове дадох нему, за да му слугуват.
7 И всичките народи ще слугуват нему, на сина му, и на внука му, докле дойде времето и на неговата земя; и тогава много народи и велики царе ще поробят и него.
8 И оня народ или царство, което не би приело да слугува на тоя вавилонски цар Навуходоносора, и което не би приело да тури врата си под хомота на вавилонския цар, - Аз ще накажа оня народ, казва Господ, с нож, с глад, и с мор, догдето го довърша чрез неговата ръка.
9 А вие недейте слуша пророците си, нито чародеите си, нито предвещателите си, нито омаятелите си, които, като ви говорят, казват: Няма да слугувате на вавилонския цар;
10 защото те ви пророкуват лъжа, та да ви отдалечат от земята ви, и Аз да ви изпъдя, та да загинете.
11 А оня народ, който подложи врата си под хомота на вавилонския цар и му слугува, него ще оставя да пребивава в земята си, казва Господ и ще я работи и ще я населява.
12 Говорих и на Юдовия цар Седекия същите думи, като рекох: Наведете вратовете си под хомота на вавилонския цар, и слугувайте нему и на людете му, и ще живеете.
13 Защо да умрете, ти и людете ти, от нож, от глад, и от мор, според както Господ говори за народа, който не би слугувал на вавилонския цар?
14 Затова, недейте слуша думите на пророците, които като ви говорят, казват: Няма да слугувате на Вавилонския цар; защото те ви пророкуват лъжа.
15 Понеже Аз не съм ги пратил, казва Господ, а те пророкуват лъжливо в Моето име, та да ви изпъдя и да погинете, вие и пророците, които ви пророкуват.
16 Говорих и на свещениците и на всички тия люде, като рекох - Така казва Господ: Недейте слуша думите на пророците си, които ви пророкуват, казвайки - Ето, съдовете на Господния дом ще се донесат подир малко от Вавилон; защото те ви пророкуват лъжа.
17 Недейте ги слуша; слугувайте на вавилонския цар и живейте; защо да се запусти тоя град?
18 Но ако те са пророци, и ако Господното слово е с тях, нека се помолят сега Господу на Силите щото съдовете, които са останали в Господния дом, и в двореца на Юдовия цар, и в Ерусалим, да не отидат във Вавилон.
19 Защото така казва Господ на Силите за стълбовете, за медното море, за подножията, и за другите съдове, които са останали в тоя град,
20 които вавилонският цар Навуходоносор не взе, когато заведе в плен от Ерусалим във Вавилон Юдовия цар Иехония, Иоакимовия син, и всичките Юдови и Ерусалимски благородни, -
21 да! така казва Господ на Силите, Израилевият Бог, за съдовете, които останаха в Господния дом, и в двореца на Юдовия цар, и в Ерусалим:
22 Те ще бъдат занесени във Вавилон, и ще останат там до деня, когато ще ги посетя, казва Господ; тогава ще ги донеса и ще ги върна на това място.

27 В начало на царуването на иудейския цар Иоакима[a], Иосиев син, биде от Господа това слово към Иеремия:
2 (A)тъй ми рече Господ: направи си окови и хомот и си ги тури на шията;
3 (B)и прати също такива на идумейския цар, на моавитския цар, на царя на Амоновите синове, на тирския цар и на сидонския цар, по пратеници, които са дошли в Иерусалим при иудейския цар Седекия,
4 и поръчай им да кажат на господарите си: тъй казва Господ Саваот, Бог Израилев: тъй кажете на вашите господари:
5 (C)Аз сътворих земята, човека и животните, които са по земното лице, с великата Си мощ и с пространната Си мишца, и я предадох, комуто Ми бе благоугодно.
6 (D)И сега Аз предавам всички тия земи в ръката на вавилонския цар Навуходоносора, Мой раб, дори и полските зверове му придавам, за да му служат.
7 (E)И всички народи ще служат нему и на сина му, и на внука му, докле дойде време, и на земята му, и на самия него; и ще му служат много народи и велики царе.
8 И ако някой народ и царство не иска да служи на вавилонския цар Навуходоносора и не ще наведе врат под хомота на вавилонския цар, – тоя народ Аз ще накажа с меч, с глад и с мор, казва Господ, докле ги не изтребя чрез ръката му.
9 (F)И вие не слушайте вашите пророци и вашите гадатели, вашите съновидци, вашите магьосници и вашите звездобройци, които ви казват: „няма да служите на вавилонския цар“.
10 Защото те ви пророкуват лъжа, за да ви отдалечат от земята ви, та Аз да ви изгоня, и вие да загинете.
11 А народа, който наведе врат под хомота на вавилонския цар и му служи, ще оставя в земята му, казва Господ, и той ще я обработва и ще живее в нея.
12 И на иудейския цар Седекия аз говорих със същите тия думи, думайки: наведете врат под хомота на вавилонския цар и служете нему и на народа му – и ще бъдете живи.
13 (G)Защо да умираш ти и народът ти от меч, от глад и от мор, както каза Господ за тоя народ, който не ще служи на вавилонския цар?
14 (H)И не слушайте думите на пророците, които ви казват: „няма да служите на вавилонския цар“; защото те ви пророкуват лъжа.
15 (I)Аз не съм ги пращал, казва Господ; и те лъжливо пророкуват в Мое име, за да ви изгоня, и да загинете, – вие и пророците ви, които ви пророкуват.
16 (J)Говорих и на свещениците и на целия тоя народ: тъй казва Господ: не слушайте думите на вашите пророци, които ви пророкуват и казват: „ето, скоро ще бъдат върнати от Вавилон съдовете на дома Господен“; защото те ви пророкуват лъжа.
17 Недейте ги слуша, служете на вавилонския цар и живейте; защо да докарвате тоя град до опустошение?
18 Ако пък те са пророци, и ако у тях има слово Господне, нека ходатайствуват пред Господа Саваота, та съдовете, които остават в дома Господен, в дома на иудейския цар и в Иерусалим, да не отиват във Вавилон.
19 (K)Защото тъй казва Господ Саваот за стълбовете и за медното море, и за подножките и за другите вещи, които останаха в тоя град,
20 (L)които вавилонският цар Навуходоносор не взе, когато отведе от Иерусалим във Вавилон иудейския цар Иехония, Иоакимов син, и всички видни иудеи и иерусалимци,
21 защото тъй казва Господ Саваот, Бог Израилев, за съдовете, които останаха в дома Господен, в дома на иудейския цар и в Иерусалим:
22 (M)те ще бъдат отнесени във Вавилон и ще останат там, докато ги посетя, казва Господ, и ги изведа и ги върна на това място.

Judah to Serve Nebuchadnezzar
27 Early in the reign of Zedekiah[a](A) son of Josiah king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from the Lord: 2 This is what the Lord said to me: “Make a yoke(B) out of straps and crossbars and put it on your neck. 3 Then send(C) word to the kings of Edom, Moab, Ammon,(D) Tyre and Sidon(E) through the envoys who have come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah. 4 Give them a message for their masters and say, ‘This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “Tell this to your masters: 5 With my great power and outstretched arm(F) I made(G) the earth and its people and the animals(H) that are on it, and I give(I) it to anyone I please. 6 Now I will give all your countries into the hands of my servant(J) Nebuchadnezzar(K) king of Babylon; I will make even the wild animals subject to him.(L) 7 All nations will serve(M) him and his son and his grandson until the time(N) for his land comes; then many nations and great kings will subjugate(O) him.
8 “‘“If, however, any nation or kingdom will not serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon or bow its neck under his yoke, I will punish(P) that nation with the sword,(Q) famine(R) and plague,(S) declares the Lord, until I destroy it by his hand. 9 So do not listen to your prophets,(T) your diviners,(U) your interpreters of dreams,(V) your mediums(W) or your sorcerers(X) who tell you, ‘You will not serve(Y) the king of Babylon.’ 10 They prophesy lies(Z) to you that will only serve to remove(AA) you far from your lands; I will banish you and you will perish. 11 But if any nation will bow its neck under the yoke(AB) of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will let that nation remain in its own land to till it and to live(AC) there, declares the Lord.”’”
12 I gave the same message to Zedekiah king of Judah. I said, “Bow your neck under the yoke(AD) of the king of Babylon; serve him and his people, and you will live.(AE) 13 Why will you and your people die(AF) by the sword, famine and plague(AG) with which the Lord has threatened any nation that will not serve the king of Babylon? 14 Do not listen(AH) to the words of the prophets(AI) who say to you, ‘You will not serve the king of Babylon,’ for they are prophesying lies(AJ) to you. 15 ‘I have not sent(AK) them,’ declares the Lord. ‘They are prophesying lies in my name.(AL) Therefore, I will banish you and you will perish,(AM) both you and the prophets who prophesy to you.’”
16 Then I said to the priests and all these people, “This is what the Lord says: Do not listen to the prophets who say, ‘Very soon now the articles(AN) from the Lord’s house will be brought back from Babylon.’ They are prophesying lies to you. 17 Do not listen(AO) to them. Serve the king of Babylon, and you will live.(AP) Why should this city become a ruin? 18 If they are prophets and have the word of the Lord, let them plead(AQ) with the Lord Almighty that the articles remaining in the house of the Lord and in the palace of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem not be taken to Babylon. 19 For this is what the Lord Almighty says about the pillars, the bronze Sea,(AR) the movable stands and the other articles(AS) that are left in this city, 20 which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon did not take away when he carried(AT) Jehoiachin[b](AU) son of Jehoiakim king of Judah into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon, along with all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem— 21 yes, this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says about the things that are left in the house of the Lord and in the palace of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem: 22 ‘They will be taken(AV) to Babylon and there they will remain until the day(AW) I come for them,’ declares the Lord. ‘Then I will bring(AX) them back and restore them to this place.’”

Orden de someterse a Nabucodonosor
27 Al principio del reinado de Sedequías[a](A), hijo de Josías, rey de Judá, vino esta palabra de parte del Señor a Jeremías: 2 Así me ha dicho el Señor: «Hazte coyundas y yugos y póntelos al cuello(B), 3 y envía palabra[b] al rey de Edom, al rey de Moab, al rey de Amón, al rey de Tiro y al rey de Sidón(C) por medio[c] de los mensajeros que vienen a Jerusalén a ver a Sedequías, rey de Judá. 4 Y ordénales que digan a sus señores: “Así dice el Señor de los ejércitos, el Dios de Israel, así le dirán a sus señores: 5 ‘Yo hice la tierra, los hombres y los animales que están sobre la superficie de la tierra(D) con Mi gran poder y con Mi brazo extendido(E), y la doy a quien me place[d](F). 6 Y ahora Yo he puesto todas estas tierras en manos de Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia(G), siervo Mío(H), y también le he dado las bestias del campo para que le sirvan(I). 7 Y todas las naciones le servirán a él, a su hijo(J), y al hijo de su hijo, hasta que llegue también la hora a su propia tierra(K); entonces muchas naciones y grandes reyes lo harán su siervo[e](L). 8 Y sucederá que la nación o el reino que no sirva a Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, y que no ponga su cuello bajo el yugo del rey de Babilonia(M), a esa nación castigaré con espada, con hambre y con pestilencia(N)’, declara el Señor, ‘hasta que Yo la[f] haya destruido por su mano.
9 ’Ustedes, pues, no escuchen a sus profetas, a sus adivinos, a sus soñadores[g], a sus agoreros ni a sus hechiceros(O) que les dicen: “No servirán al rey de Babilonia”. 10 Porque ellos les profetizan mentira(P), para alejarlos a ustedes de su tierra, y para que Yo los expulse y perezcan(Q). 11 Pero la nación que ponga su cuello bajo el yugo del rey de Babilonia y le sirva(R), la dejaré en su tierra’, declara el Señor, ‘y la cultivará y habitará en ella(S)’”».
12 Y a Sedequías, rey de Judá, hablé palabras como estas[h]: «Pongan su cuello bajo el yugo del rey de Babilonia, y sírvanle a él y a su pueblo, y vivirán(T). 13 ¿Por qué han de morir, tú y tu pueblo, por la espada, el hambre y la pestilencia, tal como ha hablado el Señor de la nación que no sirva al rey de Babilonia(U)? 14 No escuchen las palabras de los profetas que les dicen: “No servirán al rey de Babilonia”, porque les profetizan mentira(V). 15 Yo no los he enviado», declara el Señor, «y ellos profetizan mentira en Mi nombre(W), para que Yo los expulse y perezcan(X) ustedes y los profetas que les profetizan(Y)».
16 Entonces hablé a los sacerdotes y a todo este pueblo, y les dije: «Así dice el Señor: No escuchen las palabras de sus profetas que les profetizan: “Los utensilios de la casa del Señor serán devueltos en breve de Babilonia(Z)”, porque ellos les profetizan mentira(AA). 17 No los escuchen; sirvan al rey de Babilonia y vivirán. ¿Por qué ha de convertirse en ruinas esta ciudad(AB)? 18 Pero si ellos son profetas, y si la palabra del Señor está con ellos, que supliquen ahora al Señor(AC) de los ejércitos para que los utensilios que quedan en la casa del Señor, en la casa del rey de Judá y en Jerusalén, no sean llevados a Babilonia.
19 »Porque así dice el Señor de los ejércitos acerca de las columnas, del mar, de las basas(AD) y de los demás utensilios que quedan en esta ciudad, 20 los cuales no tomó Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, cuando llevó al destierro a Jeconías, hijo de Joacim, rey de Judá, de Jerusalén a Babilonia con todos los nobles de Judá y de Jerusalén(AE). 21 Sí, así dice el Señor de los ejércitos, el Dios de Israel, acerca de los utensilios que quedan en la casa del Señor, en la casa del rey de Judá y en Jerusalén: 22 “A Babilonia serán llevados, y allí quedarán(AF) hasta el día en que Yo los visite(AG)”, declara el Señor. “Entonces los traeré[i] y los restituiré a este lugar(AH)”».

27 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
2 Thus saith the Lord to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck,
3 And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;
4 And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;
5 I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.
6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.
7 And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of him.
8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the Lord, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.
9 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:
10 For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.
11 But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the Lord; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.
12 I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
13 Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the Lord hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
14 Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
15 For I have not sent them, saith the Lord, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.
16 Also I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the Lord's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
17 Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste?
18 But if they be prophets, and if the word of the Lord be with them, let them now make intercession to the Lord of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.
19 For thus saith the Lord of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city.
20 Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;
21 Yea, thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;
22 They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith the Lord; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.
