Yahweh Reigns Forevermore
93 (A)Yahweh [a]reigns, He is (B)clothed with majesty;
Yahweh has (C)clothed and girded Himself with strength;
Indeed, the (D)world is established, it will not be shaken.
2 Your (E)throne is established from of old;
You (F)are from everlasting.
3 The (G)rivers have lifted up, O Yahweh,
The rivers have lifted up their voice,
The rivers lift up their pounding waves.
4 More than the voices of many waters,
Than the mighty breakers of the sea,
Yahweh (H)on high is mighty.
5 Your (I)testimonies are very faithful;
(J)Holiness befits Your house,
O Yahweh, [b]forevermore.
16 Then some of the sons of Benjamin and Judah came to the stronghold to David. 17 David went out before them, and he answered and said to them, “If you come peacefully to me to help me, my heart shall be united with you; but if to betray me to my adversaries, since there is no violence in my hands, may the God of our fathers look on it and reprove.” 18 And (A)the Spirit clothed (B)Amasai, who was the chief of the thirty, and he said,
“We are yours, O David,
And with you, O son of Jesse!
(C)Peace, peace to you,
And peace to him who helps you;
Indeed, your God helps you!”
Then David received them and made them chiefs of the band.
19 (D)Now from Manasseh also some defected to David when he was about to go to battle with the Philistines against Saul. But they did not help them, for the lords of the Philistines after counsel sent him away, saying, “At the cost of our heads he may defect to his master Saul.” 20 As he went to Ziklag there defected to him from Manasseh: Adnah, Jozabad, Jediael, Michael, Jozabad, Elihu and Zillethai, chiefs of thousands who belonged to Manasseh. 21 They helped David against (E)the marauding band, for they were all mighty men of valor, and were commanders in the army. 22 For day by day men came to David to help him, until there was a great camp (F)like the camp of God.
5 And (A)He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am (B)making all things new.” And He *said, “Write, for (C)these words are faithful and true.” 6 Then He said to me, “(D)They are done. I am the (E)Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. (F)I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the (G)water of life without cost. 7 (H)He who overcomes will inherit these things, and (I)I will be his God and he will be My son. 8 (J)But for the cowardly and [a]unbelieving and abominable and murderers and sexually immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in (K)the lake that burns with fire and [b]brimstone, which is the (L)second death.”
9 (M)Then one of the seven angels who have the (N)seven bowls [c]full of the (O)seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, “(P)Come here, I will show you the (Q)bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
New Jerusalem, the Holy City
10 And (R)he carried me away [d](S)in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me (T)the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, 11 having (U)the glory of God. Her [e]brilliance was like precious stone, as a (V)stone of (W)crystal-clear jasper. 12 [f]It had a great and high wall. [g]It had (X)twelve (Y)gates and at those gates, twelve angels; and names [h]have been written on those gates, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel. 13 There were three gates on the east and three gates on the north and three gates on the south and three gates on the west. 14 And the wall of the city had (Z)twelve foundation stones, and on them were the twelve names of the (AA)twelve apostles of the Lamb.
