Version
Psalm 100

A Psalm of praise.

¶ Make a joyful noise unto the LORD all the earth.

Serve the LORD with gladness; come before his presence with joy.

Know ye that the LORD he is God; it is he that has made us and not we ourselves; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise; be thankful unto him and bless his name.

For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endures to all generations.

Jeremiah 50:17-20

17 Israel has been like scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away; first the king of Assyria has devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon has broken his bones.

18 Therefore thus hath the LORD of the hosts, the God of Israel said; Behold, I visit the king of Babylon and his land as I have visited the king of Assyria.

19 And I will bring Israel again to his habitation, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon Mount Ephraim and Gilead.

20 In those days, and in that time, said the LORD, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon those whom I shall have left.

John 10:31-42

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we do not stone thee, but for blasphemy; and because thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

35 If he called them gods unto whom the word of God came (and the scripture cannot be broken),

36 do ye say of him whom the Father has sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest, because I said, I am the Son of God?

37 If I do not do the works of my Father, do not believe me.

38 But if I do, though ye do not believe me, believe the works that ye may know and believe that the Father is in me and I in him.

39 ¶ Therefore they sought again to take him, but he escaped out of their hand

40 and went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized, and there he abode.

41 And many came unto him and said, John certainly did no sign, but all the things that John spoke of this man were true.

42 And many believed in him there.
