Version
Acts 16:16-34

16 ¶ And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a Pythian spirit met us, which brought her masters much gain by divination:

17 she followed Paul and us and cried out, saying, These men are the slaves of the most high God, who announce unto us the way of deliverance.

18 And she did this for many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

19 And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers

20 and brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city

21 and teach rites which are not lawful for us to receive neither to observe, being Romans.

22 And the multitude rose up together against them, and the magistrates rent off their clothes and commanded to beat them.

23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely,

24 who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison and made their feet fast in the stocks.

25 ¶ But at midnight as Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God, and the prisoners heard them,

26 then suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.

27 And the keeper of the prison, awaking out of his sleep and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had fled.

28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm, for we are all here.

29 Then he called for a light and came inside and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas

30 and brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

32 And they spoke unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

34 And when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

Psalm 97

¶ The LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

Clouds and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the seat of his throne.

A fire shall go before him and burn up his enemies round about.

His lightnings enlightened the world; the earth saw and trembled.

The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory.

Let all those that serve graven images be confounded, those that boast of idols; worship him, all ye gods.

¶ Zion heard and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

For thou, O LORD, art high above all the earth; thou art exalted far above all gods.

10 Ye that love the LORD are to hate evil; he preserves the souls of his saints; he delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

11 Light is sown for the righteous and gladness for the upright in heart.

12 Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Revelation 22:12-14

12 And, behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give each one according as his work shall be.

13 I AM the Alpha and the Omega, beginning and end, the first and the last.

14 Blessed are those who do his commandments that their power and authority might be in the tree of life and they may enter in through the gates into the city.

Revelation 22:16-17

16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify unto you these things in the congregations. {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} I AM the root and the offspring of David and the bright and morning star.

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is thirsty come; and whosoever will, let him take of the water of life freely.

Revelation 22:20-21

20 ¶ He who testifies these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

John 17:20-26

20 ¶ Neither do I pray for these alone, but also for those who shall believe in me through their word;

21 that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22 And the clarity which thou gavest me I have given them, that they may be one, even as we are one:

23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfect in one and that the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved them as thou hast loved me.

24 ¶ Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am, that they may behold my clarity, which thou hast given me, for thou hast loved me from before the foundation of the world.

25 O righteous Father, the world has not known thee; but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

26 And I have manifested unto them thy name and will manifest it still, that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
