Psalm 118:1-2

118 1 David rejected of Saul and of the people at the time appointed obtained the kingdom. 4 For the which he biddeth all them, that fear the Lord, to be thankful.  And under his person in all this was Christ lively set forth, who should be of his people rejected.

Praise [a]ye the Lord, because he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.

Let Israel now say, That his mercy endureth forever.

Psalm 118:19-29

19 Open ye unto me the [a]gates of righteousness, that I may go into them, and praise the Lord.

20 This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter into it.

21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and hast been my deliverance.

22 (A)The stone, which the builders [b]refused, is the head of the corner.

23 This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes,

24 This is the [c]day, which the Lord hath made: let us rejoice and be glad in it.

25 [d]O Lord, I pray thee, save now: O Lord, I pray thee now give prosperity.

26 Blessed be he, that cometh in the Name of the Lord: [e]we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.

27 The Lord is mighty, and hath given us [f]light: bind the sacrifice with cords unto the horns of the altar.

28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee, even my God: therefore I will exalt thee.

29 Praise ye the Lord, because he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.

Jeremiah 33:1-9

33 1 The Prophet is monished of the Lord to pray for the deliverance of the people which the Lord promised. 8 God forgiveth sins for his own glory. 15 Of the birth of Christ. 20 The kingdom of Christ in the Church shall never be ended.

Moreover the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah the second time (while he was yet shut up in the [a]court of prison) saying,

Thus saith the Lord, the [b]maker thereof, the Lord that formed it, and established it, the Lord is his Name.

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the Kings of Judah, which are destroyed by the [c]mounts, and by the sword,

They come to [d]fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill themselves with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my wrath: for I have hid my [e]face from this city, because of all their wickedness.

¶ Behold, I [f]will give it health and amendment: for I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace, and truth.

And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them as at the first.

And I will [g]cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me: yea, I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned against me, and whereby they have rebelled against me.

And it shall be to me a name, a [h]joy, a praise, and an honor before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness, and for all the wealth, that I show unto this city.

Philippians 2:12-18

12 [a]Wherefore my beloved, as ye have always obeyed me, not as in my presence only, but now much more in mine absence, so [b]make an end of your own salvation with fear and trembling.

13 [c]For it is God which worketh in you both [d]the will and the deed, even of his good pleasure.

14 [e]Do all things without (A)murmuring and reasonings,

15 [f]That ye may be blameless, and pure, and the sons of God without rebuke in the midst of a naughty and crooked nation, among whom ye shine as (B)lights in the world,

16 Holding forth the [g]word of life, [h]that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither have labored in vain.

17 Yea, and though I be offered up upon the [i]sacrifice, and service of your faith, I am glad, and rejoice with you all.

18 For the same cause also be ye glad, and rejoice with me.
