Psalm 100

100 1 He exhorteth all to serve the Lord, 3 who hath chosen us, and preserved us, 4 and to enter into his assemblies to praise his Name.

A Psalm of praise.

Sing [a]ye loud unto the Lord, all the earth.

Serve the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyfulness.

Know ye that even the Lord is God; he hath [b]made us, and not we ourselves: we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

[c]Enter into his gates with praise, and into his courts with rejoicing: praise him and bless his Name.

For the Lord is good: his mercy is [d]everlasting, and his truth is from generation to generation.

Ezekiel 34:25-31

25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land, and they shall [a]dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

26 And I will set them, as a blessing, even round about my mountains, and I will cause rain to come down in due season: and there shall be rain of blessing.

27 And the [b]tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall give her fruit, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the cords of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hands of those that served themselves of them.

28 And they shall no more be spoiled of the heathen, neither shall the beasts of the land devour them, but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.

29 And I will raise up for them a [c]plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the reproach of the heathen anymore.

30 Thus shall they understand, that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel are my people, saith the Lord God.

31 And ye my sheep, the sheep of my pasture are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord God.

Matthew 12:46-50

46 [a](A)While he yet spake to the multitude, behold, his mother, and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.

47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.

48 But he answered, and said to him that told him, Who is my mother, and who are my brethren?

49 [b]And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples and said, Behold my mother, and my brethren.

50 For whosoever shall do my Father’s will which is in heaven, the same is my brother and sister and mother.
