Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
Nun
105 Your word is a (A)lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.
106 I have (B)sworn and I will confirm it,
That I will keep Your righteous judgments.
107 I am exceedingly (C)afflicted;
[a](D)Revive me, Lord, according to Your word.
108 Be pleased to accept the [b](E)voluntary offerings of my mouth, Lord,
And (F)teach me Your judgments.
109 My [c](G)life is continually [d]in my hand,
Yet I do not (H)forget Your Law.
110 The wicked have (I)set a [e]trap for me,
Yet I have not (J)wandered from Your precepts.
111 I have (K)inherited Your testimonies forever,
For they are the (L)joy of my heart.
112 I have (M)inclined my heart to perform Your statutes
Forever, even (N)to the end.
The Song of Moses
32 “(A)Listen, you heavens, and I will speak;
And let the earth hear the words of my mouth!
2 (B)May my teaching drip as the rain,
My speech trickle as the dew,
(C)As droplets on the fresh grass,
And as the showers on the vegetation.
3 (D)For I proclaim the name of the Lord;
(E)Ascribe greatness to our God!
4 (F)The Rock! His work is perfect,
(G)For all His ways are [a]just;
(H)A God of faithfulness and without injustice,
Righteous and just is He.
5 [b](I)They have acted corruptly against Him,
They are not His children, because of their defect;
(J)But are a perverse and crooked generation.
6 Is this what you (K)do to the Lord,
(L)You foolish and unwise people?
(M)Is He not your Father who has purchased you?
(N)He has made you and established you.
7 Remember the days of old,
Consider the years of all generations.
(O)Ask your father and he will inform you,
Your elders, and they will tell you.
8 (P)When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance,
When He separated the sons of [c]mankind,
He set the boundaries of the peoples
(Q)According to the number of the [d]sons of Israel.
9 (R)For the Lord’s portion is His people;
Jacob is the allotment of His inheritance.
10 (S)He found him in a desert land,
And in the howling wasteland of a wilderness;
He encircled him, He cared for him,
He guarded him as (T)the [e]apple of His eye.
14 And concerning you, my brothers and sisters, I myself also am convinced that you yourselves are full of (A)goodness, filled with (B)all knowledge and able also to admonish one another. 15 But I have written very boldly to you on some points so as to remind you again, because of (C)the grace that was given to me [a]from God, 16 to be (D)a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest the (E)gospel of God, so that my (F)offering of the Gentiles may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. 17 Therefore in Christ Jesus I have found (G)reason for boasting in (H)things pertaining to God. 18 (I)For I will not presume to speak of anything [b]except what (J)Christ has accomplished through me, [c]resulting in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed, 19 in the power of [d](K)signs and wonders, (L)in the power of the Spirit; so that (M)from Jerusalem and all around as (N)far as Illyricum I have [e]fully preached the gospel of Christ. 20 And in this way I aspired to (O)preach the gospel, not where Christ was already known by name, (P)so that I would not build on another person’s foundation; 21 but just as it is written:
“(Q)They who have not been told about Him will see,
And they who have not heard will understand.”
