29 Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty; give unto the Lord glory and strength.

² Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

³ The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of glory thundereth; the Lord is upon many waters.

⁴ The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

⁵ The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

⁶ He maketh them also to skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

⁷ The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire.

⁸ The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the Wilderness of Kadesh.

⁹ The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and layeth bare the forests, and in His temple doth every one speak of His glory.

¹⁰ The Lord sitteth over the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth as King for ever.

¹¹ The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.

¹² Then the Spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, “Blessed be the glory of the Lord from His place.”

¹³ I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels opposite them, and a noise of a great rushing.

¹⁴ So the Spirit lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the Lord was strong upon me.

¹⁵ Then I came to those of the captivity at Telabib, who dwelt by the River of Chebar; and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.

¹⁶ And it came to pass at the end of seven days that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

¹⁷ “Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore hear the word out of My mouth, and give them warning from Me.

¹⁸ When I say unto the wicked, ‘Thou shalt surely die,’ and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way to save his life, the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

¹⁹ Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

²⁰ Again, when a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die. Because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

²¹ Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.”

¹⁸ And it came to pass as He was alone praying, His disciples were with Him, and He asked them, saying, “Who say the people that I am?”

¹⁹ They answering said, “John the Baptist; but some say Elijah, and others say that one of the old prophets has risen again.”

²⁰ He said to them, “But who say ye that I am?” Peter answering said, “The Christ of God!”

²¹ And He strictly charged them and commanded them to tell no man this thing,

²² saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and scribes, and be slain and be raised the third day.”

²³ And He said to them all, “If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

²⁴ For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever will lose his life for My sake, the same shall save it.

²⁵ For what is a man advantaged if he gain the whole world, and lose himself or be cast away?

²⁶ For whosoever shall be ashamed of Me and of My words, of him shall the Son of Man be ashamed when He shall come in His own glory and in His Father’s and of the holy angels.

²⁷ But I tell you in truth, there are some standing here that shall not taste of death till they see the Kingdom of God.”
