28 A psalm for David, at the finishing of the tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, O ye children of God: bring to the Lord the offspring of rams.

² Bring to the Lord glory and honour: bring to the Lord glory to his name: adore ye the Lord in his holy court.

³ The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of majesty hath thundered, The Lord is upon many waters.

⁴ The voice of the Lord is in power; the voice of the Lord in magnificence.

⁵ The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord shall break the cedars of Libanus.

⁶ And shall reduce them to pieces, as a calf of Libanus, and as the beloved son of unicorns.

⁷ The voice of the Lord divideth the flame of fire:

⁸ The voice of the Lord shaketh the desert: and the Lord shall shake the desert of Cades.

⁹ The voice of the Lord prepareth the stags: and he will discover the thick woods: and in his temple all shall speak his glory.

¹⁰ The Lord maketh the flood to dwell: and the Lord shall sit king for ever. The Lord will give strength to his people: the Lord will bless his people with peace.

¹⁵ And Moses answered him:

¹⁶ May the Lord the God of the spirits of all flesh provide a man, that may be over this multitude:

¹⁷ And may go out and in before them, and may lead them out, or bring them in: lest the people of the Lord be as sheep without a shepherd.

¹⁸ And the Lord said to him: Take Josue the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and put thy hand upon him.

¹⁹ And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest and all the multitude:

²⁰ And thou shalt give him precepts in the sight of all, and part of thy glory, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may hear him.

²¹ If any thing be to be done, Eleazar the priest shall consult the Lord for him. He and all the children of Israel with him, and the rest of the multitude shall go out and go in at his word.

²² Moses did as the Lord had commanded. And when he had taken Josue, he set him before Eleazar the priest, and all the assembly of the people,

²³ And laying his hands on his head, he repeated all things that the Lord had commanded.

⁸ Be mindful that the Lord Jesus Christ is risen again from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my gospel.

⁹ Wherein I labour even unto bands, as an evildoer; but the word of God is not bound.

¹⁰ Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation, which is in Christ Jesus, with heavenly glory.

¹¹ A faithful saying: for if we be dead with him, we shall live also with him.

¹² If we suffer, we shall also reign with him. If we deny him, he will also deny us.

¹³ If we believe not, he continueth faithful, he can not deny himself.
