100 A psalm for David himself. Mercy and judgment I will sing to thee, O Lord: I will sing,

² And I will understand in the unspotted way, when thou shalt come to me. I walked in the innocence of my heart, in the midst of my house.

³ I did not set before my eyes any unjust thing: I hated the workers of iniquities.

⁴ The perverse heart did not cleave to me: and the malignant, that turned aside from me, I would not know.

⁵ The man that in private detracted his neighbour, him did I persecute. With him that had a proud eye, and an unsatiable heart, I would not eat.

⁶ My eyes were upon the faithful of the earth, to sit with me: the man that walked in the perfect way, he served me.

⁷ He that worketh pride shall not dwell in the midst of my house: he that speaketh unjust things did not prosper before my eyes.

⁸ In the morning I put to death all the wicked of the land: that I might cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of the Lord.

²⁵ And I will make a covenant of peace with them, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they that dwell in the wilderness shall sleep secure in the forests.

²⁶ And I will make them a blessing round about my hill: and I will send down the rain in its season, there shall be showers of blessing.

²⁷ And the tree of the field shall yield its fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be in their land without fear: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall have broken the bonds of their yoke, and shall have delivered them out of the hand of those that rule over them.

²⁸ And they shall be no more for a spoil to the nations, neither shall the beasts of the earth devour them: but they shall dwell securely without any terror.

²⁹ And I will raise up for them a bud of renown: and they shall be no more consumed with famine in the land, neither shall they bear any more the reproach of the Gentiles.

³⁰ And they shall know that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they are my people the house of Israel: saith the Lord God.

³¹ And you my flocks, the flocks of my pasture are men: and I am the Lord your God, saith the Lord God.

⁴⁶ As he was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold his mother and his brethren stood without, seeking to speak to him.

⁴⁷ And one said unto him: Behold thy mother and thy brethren stand without, seeking thee.

⁴⁸ But he answering him that told him, said: Who is my mother, and who are my brethren?

⁴⁹ And stretching forth his hand towards his disciples, he said: Behold my mother and my brethren.

⁵⁰ For whosoever shall do the will of my Father, that is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.
