Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
The Perfect Revelation of the Lord
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
19 The (A)heavens declare the glory of God;
And the (B)firmament[a] shows [b]His handiwork.
2 Day unto day utters speech,
And night unto night reveals knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language
Where their voice is not heard.
4 (C)Their [c]line has gone out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world.
In them He has set a [d]tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
(D)And rejoices like a strong man to run its race.
6 Its rising is from one end of heaven,
And its circuit to the other end;
And there is nothing hidden from its heat.
7 (E)The law of the Lord is perfect, [e]converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making (F)wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than (G)gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the [f]honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward.
Three Annual Feasts(A)
14 (B)“Three times you shall keep a feast to Me in the year: 15 (C)You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread (you shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month of Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt; (D)none shall appear before Me empty); 16 (E)and the Feast of Harvest, the firstfruits of your labors which you have sown in the field; and (F)the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you have gathered in the fruit of your labors from the field.
17 (G)“Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the Lord [a]God.
18 (H)“You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened (I)bread; nor shall the fat of My [b]sacrifice remain until morning. 19 (J)The first of the firstfruits of your land you shall bring into the house of the Lord your God. (K)You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.
14 Do all things (A)without [a]complaining and (B)disputing,[b] 15 that you may become blameless and [c]harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as (C)lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that (D)I may rejoice in the day of Christ that (E)I have not run in vain or labored in (F)vain.
17 Yes, and if (G)I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice (H)and service of your faith, (I)I am glad and rejoice with you all. 18 For the same reason you also be glad and rejoice with me.
All for Christ
3 Finally, my brethren, (A)rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.
2 (B)Beware of dogs, beware of (C)evil workers, (D)beware of the mutilation! 3 For we are (E)the circumcision, (F)who worship [a]God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh, 4 though (G)I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I (H)more so:
