Version
1 Kings 8:1

4 The Ark is borne into the Temple. 10 A cloud filleth the Temple. 14 The king blesseth the people.

Then King Solomon assembled (A)the Elders of Israel, even all the heads of the tribes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel unto [a]him in Jerusalem, for to [b]bring up the Ark of the covenant of the Lord from the city of David, which is Zion.

1 Kings 8:6

So the [a]Priests brought the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord unto his place, into the oracle of the house into the most holy place, even under the wings of the Cherubims.

1 Kings 8:10-11

10 And when the Priests were come out of the Sanctuary, the (A)cloud filled the house of the Lord,

11 So that the Priests could not stand to minister, because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord.

1 Kings 8:22-30

22 ¶ Then Solomon stood before (A)the altar of the Lord in the sight of all the Congregation of Israel, and stretched out his hands toward heaven,

23 And said, O Lord God of Israel, there is no God like thee in heaven above, or in the earth beneath, thou that keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee, with [a]all their heart,

24 Thou that hast kept with thy servant David my father, that thou hast promised him: for thou spakest with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as appeareth this day.

25 Therefore, now Lord God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou hast promised him, saying, (B) Thou shalt not want a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel: so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me, as thou hast walked in my sight.

26 And now, O God of Israel, I pray thee, let thy word be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my father.

27 [b]Is it true indeed that God will dwell on the earth? behold, the heavens, and the heavens of heavens are not able to contain thee: how much more unable is this house that I have built?

28 But have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O Lord my God, to hear the cry and prayer which thy servant prayeth before thee this day:

29 That thine eyes may be open toward this house, night and day, even toward the place whereof thou hast said, (C)My Name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant prayeth in this place.

30 Hear thou therefore the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel which pray in this place, and hear thou [c]in the place of thine habitation, even in heaven, and when thou hearest, have mercy.

1 Kings 8:41-43

41 Moreover as touching the [a]stranger that is not of thy people Israel, who shall come out of a far country for thy Name’s sake,

42 (When they shall hear of thy great Name, and of thy mighty hand, and of thy stretched out arm) and shall come and pray in this house,

43 Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth for unto thee: that all the people of the earth may know thy Name, and fear thee, as do thy people Israel: and that they may know that thy [b]Name is called upon in this house which I have built.

Psalm 84

84 1 David driven forth of his country,  2 Desireth most ardently to come again to the tabernacle of the Lord and the assembly of the Saints to praise God, 4 pronouncing them blessed that may so do. 6 Then he praiseth the courage of the people, that pass through the wilderness to assemble themselves in Zion. 10 Finally, with praise of this matter and confidence of God’s goodness, he endeth the Psalm.

To him that excelleth upon Gittith. A Psalm committed to the sons of Korah.

O [a]Lord of hosts, how amiable are thy Tabernacles?

My soul longeth, yea, and fainted for the [b]courts of the Lord: for my heart and my flesh rejoice in the living God.

Yea, the sparrow hath found her an house, and the swallow a nest for her, where she may lay her young: even by thine [c]altars, O Lord of hosts, my king and my God.

Blessed are they that dwell in thine house, they will ever praise thee. Selah.

Blessed is the man whose [d]strength is in thee, and in whose heart are thy ways.

They going through the valley of [e]Baca, make wells therein: the rain also covereth the pools.

They go from [f]strength to strength, till every one appear before God in Zion.

O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer, hearken, O God of Jacob. Selah.

Behold, O God, our shield, and look upon the face of thine [g]Anointed.

10 For [h]a day in thy courts is better than a thousand other where: I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tabernacles of wickedness.

11 For the Lord God is the sun and shield unto us: the Lord will give grace and glory, and no [i]good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

12 O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

Ephesians 6:10-20

10 [a]Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the assaults of the devil.

12 [b]For we wrestle not against flesh and [c]blood, but against (A)[d]principalities, against powers, and against the worldly governors, the princes of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness, which are in the high places.

13 [e]For this cause take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to resist in the [f]evil day, and having finished all things, stand fast.

14 Stand therefore, and your loins girded about with verity, and having on the breastplate of righteousness,

15 And your feet shod with the [g]preparation of the Gospel of peace.

16 Above all, take the shield of Faith, wherewith ye may quench all the fiery darts of the wicked,

17 And take the helmet of Salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray always with all manner prayer and supplication in the [h]spirit: and watch thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all Saints,

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly to publish the secret of the Gospel,

20 Whereof I am the ambassador in bonds, that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

John 6:56-69

56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

57 As [a]that living Father hath sent me, so live I by the [b]Father, and he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers have eaten Manna, and are dead. He that eateth of this bread, shall live forever.

59 These things spake he in the Synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.

60 [c]Many therefore of his disciples (when they heard this) said, This is an hard saying: who can hear it?

61 But Jesus knowing in himself, that his disciples murmured at this, said unto them, Doth this offend you?

62 What then if ye should see that Son of man ascend up (A)where he was before?

63 [d]It is the [e]spirit that quickeneth: the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, are spirit and life.

64 But there are some of you that believe not: for Jesus knew from the beginning, which they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it be given unto him of my Father.

66 [f]From that time, many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

67 Then said Jesus to the twelve, Will ye also go away?

68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Master, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life:

69 And we believe and know that thou art that Christ that Son of the living God.
