21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
Version
Psalm 105:1-11

105 O give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the people.

Sing unto Him, sing psalms unto Him; talk ye of all His wondrous works.

Glory ye in His holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.

Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face evermore.

Remember His marvelous works that He hath done, His wonders and the judgments of His mouth,

O ye seed of Abraham, His servant, ye children of Jacob, His chosen.

He is the Lord our God; His judgments are over all the earth.

He hath remembered His covenant for ever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations,

which covenant He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac,

10 and confirmed the same unto Jacob as a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

11 saying, “Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance,”

Psalm 105:45

45 that they might observe His statutes and keep His laws. Praise ye the Lord!

Genesis 29:1-8

29 Then Jacob went on his journey, and came into the land of the people of the east.

And he looked, and behold, a well in the field, and lo, there were three flocks of sheep lying by it; for out of that well they watered the flocks; and a great stone was upon the well’s mouth.

And thither were all the flocks gathered; and they rolled the stone from the well’s mouth and watered the sheep, and put the stone again upon the well’s mouth in his place.

And Jacob said unto them, “My brethren, from whence be ye?” And they said, “Of Haran are we.”

And he said unto them, “Know ye Laban the son of Nahor?” And they said, “We know him.”

And he said unto them, “Is he well?” And they said, “He is well; and behold, Rachel his daughter cometh with the sheep.”

And he said, “Lo, it is yet high day, neither is it time that the cattle should be gathered together. Water ye the sheep, and go and feed them.”

And they said, “We cannot until all the flocks are gathered together, and until they roll the stone from the well’s mouth. Then we water the sheep.”

1 Corinthians 4:14-20

14 I write these things not to shame you, but to warn you as my beloved sons.

15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet ye have not many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the Gospel.

16 Therefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.

17 For this cause I have sent unto you Timothy, who is my beloved son and faithful in the Lord, who shall put you in remembrance of my ways which are in Christ, as I teach them everywhere in every church.

18 Now some are puffed up as though I would not come to you.

19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and will know, not the speech of those who are puffed up, but the power.

20 For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
