馬 太 福 音 19:16-22

富人拒绝跟随耶稣

16 一个人来问耶稣∶“老师，我该做什么善事才能得到永生？”

17 耶稣说道∶“你为什么问我什么是好呢？只有上帝是好的！如果你要想得到永生，就必须遵守诫命。”

18 那人问∶“遵守什么诫命？”

耶稣说∶“‘不可杀人，不可通奸，不可偷盗，不可作伪证， 19 要孝敬父母。’， [a]还有‘爱人如爱己。’ [b]”

20 年轻人说∶“我遵守了所有这些诫命，我还需要做其它的事吗？”

21 耶稣回答∶“如果你想达到十全十美的地步，那么去卖掉你所有的财产，把钱分给穷人，这样你在天堂就会有财富了。然后你来跟随我。”

22 年轻人听了这话，就心怀悲伤地走了，因为他很富有。
