使徒行傳 13:32-41
32 而我們也把應許給祖先的這福音傳給你們， 33 因為神使耶穌復活，已經為我們這些做他們兒女[a]的成全了這應許，正如詩篇第二篇也記著：
『你是我的兒子，
我今天生了你。』[b]
34 至於神使耶穌從死人中復活、不再歸於腐朽的事，神曾這樣說過：『我要把給大衛的那聖潔、信實的祝福[c]賜給你們。』[d] 35 所以在另外一處也說：『你不會讓你的聖者經歷腐朽。』[e] 36 就是說，大衛雖然在自己的世代，遵行了神的計劃之後就睡了，歸到他祖先那裡，並且經歷了腐朽， 37 但是神使之復活的那一位，沒有經歷腐朽。 38 所以各位兄弟，你們應當知道：罪得赦免，是因著這一位傳給你們的。在你們藉著摩西的律法，不能被稱為義的一切事上， 39 藉著這一位，所有相信的人都被稱為義了。 40 所以你們要當心，免得先知們所說的話臨到你們[f]：
41 『看吧，你們這些好譏誚的人哪！
驚奇吧，滅亡吧！
因為在你們的時代裡，我要做一件事，
就算有人向你們詳細說明，
你們也絕不會相信。』[g]」
