彼得前书 2:11-17

要有好品行

11 各位蒙爱的人哪，我劝你们：做为过客和寄居的，要远避那与你们灵魂争战的肉体欲望。 12 你们在外邦人中，要有良好的品行；这样，当他们诽谤你们是作恶之人的时候，因看到你们美好的行为，就在神[a]临到[b]的日子荣耀神。

13 为了主的缘故，你们要服从人的一切制度；无论是在上的君王， 14 或是他所委派来惩恶赏善的那些官员[c]； 15 因为神的旨意就是要你们藉着行善，堵住那些愚妄人无知的口。 16 做为自由人，你们不可拿自由当做恶事的借口，却要做神的奴仆。 17 你们应当尊重所有的人，爱弟兄姐妹，敬畏神，尊重君王。
