提摩太后书 1:8-12

不以福音为耻

8 所以你不要以有关我们主的见证为耻，也不要以我——这主的囚犯为耻，而要藉着神的大能，为福音与我[a]同受苦难。

9 神拯救了我们，以神圣的呼唤召了我们，
不是照着我们的行为，而是照着他自己的心意和恩典；
这恩典是在亘古以前，在基督耶稣里赐给我们的，
10 而现在，藉着我们的救主基督耶稣的显现，已经表明出来；
基督一方面废除了死亡，另一方面藉着福音彰显了生命和不朽。

11 为了这福音，我受指派做传道者、使徒和[b]教师。 12 因这理由，我也正在经受这些苦；然而我并不以为耻，因为我知道我信的是谁，也深信他能保守我所受的托付[c]，直到那日[d]。
