雅各書 1:9-16

9 卑微[a]的弟兄應當以自己被高舉而誇耀； 10 富有的應當以自己被降卑而誇耀，因為他將要像草上的花那樣消逝。 11 太陽帶著熱氣升起，草地枯萎，草上的花也凋謝，它表面的美麗也就消逝了；照樣，富有的人在他的追求中，也將衰殘。

12 忍受試煉的人是蒙福的；因為他經過考驗以後，就要得到生命的冠冕，就是主[b]應許給那些愛他之人的。

13 人受誘惑的時候，不可說：「我被神誘惑」，因為神是不能被邪惡誘惑的，神也不誘惑任何人。 14 而每個人受誘惑，都是被自己的欲望所牽扯、所引誘的； 15 一旦欲望懷了胎，就生下罪來；罪長成了，就生出死亡。

16 我親愛的弟兄們，你們不要被迷惑了！
