Daniel 12:1-3

12 1 Of the deliverance of the Church by Christ.

And at that [a]time shall Michael stand up, the great prince, which standeth for the children of thy people, and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there began to be a nation unto that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the book.

And many [b]of them that sleep in the dust of the earth, shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and perpetual contempt.

And they that be [c]wise, shall shine, as the brightness of the firmament: and they that [d]turn many to righteousness, shall shine as the stars, forever and ever.

Psalm 16

16 1 David prayeth to God for succor not for his works, but for his faith’s sake. 4 Protesting that he hateth all idolatry, taking God only for his comfort and felicity. 8 Who suffereth his to lack nothing.

[a]Michtam of David.

Preserve me, O GOD: for in thee do I [b]trust.

O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my [c]well doing extendeth not to thee,

But to the Saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent: all my delight is in them.

The [d]sorrows of them, that offer to another god, shall be multiplied: [e]their offerings of blood will I not offer, neither make (A)mention of their names with my lips.

The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou shalt maintain my lot.

The [f]lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places: yea, I have a fair heritage.

I will praise the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my [g]reins also teach me in the nights.

I have set the Lord always before me: for he is at my right hand: therefore I [h]shall not slide.

Wherefore [i]mine heart is glad, and my tongue rejoiceth: my flesh also doth rest in hope.

10 For thou [j]wilt not leave my soul in the grave: neither wilt thou suffer thine holy One to see corruption.

11 Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy [k]presence is the fullness of joy: and at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

Hebrews 10:11-14

11 [a]And every Priest [b]standeth daily ministering, and ofttimes offereth one manner of offering, which can never take away sins:

12 But this man after he had offered one sacrifice for sins, (A)sitteth forever at the right hand of God,

13 [c]And from henceforth tarrieth, (B)till his enemies be made his footstool.

14 For with one offering hath he consecrated forever them that are sanctified.

Hebrews 10:15-18

15 [a]For the holy Ghost also beareth us record: for after that he had said before,

16 (A)This is the Testament that I will make unto them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my Laws in their heart, and in their minds I will write them.

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember [b]no more.

18 Now where remission of these things is, there is no more offering for [c]sin.

Hebrews 10:19-25

19 [a]Seeing therefore, brethren, that by the blood of Jesus we may be bold to enter into the Holy place,

20 By the new and living way, which he hath prepared for us, through the veil, that is, his [b]flesh:

21 And seeing we have an high Priest, which is over the house of God,

22 [c]Let us draw near with a [d]true heart in assurance of faith, our [e]hearts being pure from an evil conscience,

23 And washed in our bodies with [f]pure water, let us keep the profession of our hope, without wavering, (for he is faithful that promised.)

24 And let us consider one another, to provoke unto love, and to good works,

25 Not forsaking the fellowship that we have among ourselves, as the manner of some is: but let us exhort one another, [g]and that so much the more, because ye see that the day draweth near.

Mark 13:1-8

13 Of the destruction of Jerusalem. 9 Persecutions for the Gospel. 10 The Gospel must be preached to all nations. 26 Of Christ’s coming to judgment. 33 We must watch and pray.

(A)And [a]as he went out of the Temple, one of his disciples said unto him, Master, see what manner stones, and what manner buildings are here.

(B)Then Jesus answered and said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon a stone, that shall not be thrown down.

And as he sat on the mount of Olives, over against the Temple, Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew asked him secretly,

Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

And Jesus answered them, and began to say, (C)Take heed lest any man deceive you.

For many shall come in my Name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many.

Furthermore when ye shall hear of wars, and rumors of wars, be ye not troubled, for such things must needs be: but the end shall not be yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be earthquakes in divers quarters, and there shall be famine and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
