New American Bible (Revised Edition) (NABRE)
Version
Psalm 62:5-12

Even highly placed people
    plot to overthrow him.
They delight in lies;
    they bless with their mouths,
    but inwardly they curse.(A)
Selah

II

My soul, be at rest in God alone,
    from whom comes my hope.
God alone is my rock and my salvation,
    my fortress; I shall not fall.
My deliverance and honor are with God,(B)
    my strong rock;
    my refuge is with God.
Trust God at all times, my people!
    Pour out your hearts to God our refuge!
Selah

III

10 Mortals are a mere breath,
    the sons of man but an illusion;(C)
On a balance they rise;[a]
    together they weigh nothing.
11 Do not trust in extortion;
    in plunder put no empty hope.
On wealth that increases,
    do not set your heart.(D)
12 [b]One thing God has said;
    two things I have heard:(E)
Strength belongs to God;

Jeremiah 20:14-18

14 Cursed be the day[a]
    on which I was born!
May the day my mother gave me birth
    never be blessed!(A)
15 Cursed be the one who brought the news
    to my father,
“A child, a son, has been born to you!”
    filling him with great joy.
16 Let that man be like the cities
    which the Lord relentlessly overthrew;
Let him hear war cries in the morning,
    battle alarms at noonday,(B)
17     because he did not kill me in the womb!
Then my mother would have been my grave,
    her womb confining me forever.(C)
18 Why did I come forth from the womb,
    to see sorrow and pain,
    to end my days in shame?(D)

Luke 10:13-16

13 (A)“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida!(B) For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14 But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. 15 [a](C)And as for you, Capernaum, ‘Will you be exalted to heaven? You will go down to the netherworld.’ 16 Whoever listens to you listens to me. Whoever rejects you rejects me. And whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.”(D)
