Psalm 78:23-29

23 Yet he commanded the skies above
    and (A)opened the doors of heaven,
24 and he (B)rained down on them manna to eat
    and gave them (C)the grain of heaven.
25 Man ate of the bread of (D)the angels;
    he sent them food (E)in abundance.
26 He (F)caused the east wind to blow in the heavens,
    and by his power he led out the south wind;
27 he rained meat on them like (G)dust,
    winged birds like (H)the sand of the seas;
28 he (I)let them fall in the midst of their camp,
    all around their dwellings.
29 And they (J)ate and were well filled,
    for he gave them what they (K)craved.

Exodus 13:3-10

The Feast of Unleavened Bread

Then Moses said to the people, (A)“Remember this day in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of slavery, (B)for by a strong hand the Lord brought you out from this place. (C)No leavened bread shall be eaten. Today, in the month of (D)Abib, you are going out. And when the Lord brings you into (E)the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which (F)he swore to your fathers to give you, a land (G)flowing with milk and honey, (H)you shall keep this service in this month. (I)Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a feast to the Lord. Unleavened bread shall be eaten for seven days; no leavened bread shall be seen with you, and no leaven shall be seen with you in all your territory. (J)You shall tell your son on that day, ‘It is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’ And it shall (K)be to you as a sign on your hand and as (L)a memorial (M)between your eyes, that the law of the Lord may be in your mouth. For with a strong hand the Lord has brought you out of Egypt. 10 (N)You shall therefore keep this statute at its appointed time from year to year.

Matthew 16:5-12

The Leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees

When the disciples reached the other side, they had forgotten to bring any bread. Jesus said to them, “Watch and (A)beware of (B)the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” And they began discussing it among themselves, saying, “We brought no bread.” But (C)Jesus, aware of this, said, (D)“O you of little faith, why are you discussing among yourselves the fact that you have no bread? (E)Do you not yet perceive? Do you not remember (F)the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you gathered? 10 Or (G)the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many baskets you gathered? 11 How is it that you fail to understand that I did not speak about bread? (H)Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” 12 (I)Then they understood that he did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of (J)the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
