Psalm 145:10-18

10 (A)All Your works will give thanks to You, Lord,
And Your (B)godly ones will bless You.
11 They will speak of the (C)glory of Your kingdom,
And talk of Your might,
12 To (D)make known to the sons of mankind [a]Your mighty acts,
And the (E)glory of the majesty of [b]Your kingdom.
13 Your kingdom is [c]an (F)everlasting kingdom,
And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.
[d]The Lord is faithful in His words,
And holy in all His works.

14 The Lord (G)supports all who fall,
And (H)raises up all who are bowed down.
15 The eyes of all [e]look to You,
And You (I)give them their food in due time.
16 You (J)open Your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing.

17 The Lord is (K)righteous in all His ways,
And kind in all His works.
18 The Lord is (L)near to all who call on Him,
To all who call on Him (M)in truth.

1 Kings 19:19-21

19 So he departed from there and found Elisha the son of Shaphat while he was plowing, with twelve yoke of oxen in front of him, and he with the twelfth. And Elijah came over to him and threw (A)his cloak on him. 20 Then he left the oxen behind and ran after Elijah, and said, “Please (B)let me kiss my father and my mother, then I will follow you.” And he said to him, “Go back, for [a]what have I done to you?” 21 So he returned from following him, and took the pair of oxen and sacrificed them, and (C)cooked their meat with the implements of the oxen, and gave it to the people and they ate. Then he got up and followed Elijah and served him.

Colossians 1:9-14

For this reason we also, (A)since the day we heard about it, (B)have not ceased praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the [a](C)knowledge of His will in all spiritual (D)wisdom and understanding, 10 so that you will (E)walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, [b](F)to please Him in all respects, (G)bearing fruit in every good work and [c]increasing in the [d]knowledge of God; 11 (H)strengthened with all power, according to [e]His glorious might, [f]for the attaining of all perseverance and [g]patience; (I)joyously 12 giving thanks to (J)the Father, who has qualified us [h]to share in (K)the inheritance of the [i]saints in (L)light.

The Incomparable Christ

13 [j]For He rescued us from the [k](M)domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of [l](N)His beloved Son, 14 (O)in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
