Psalm 150

Let Everything Praise the Lord

150 (A)Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his (B)sanctuary;
    praise him in (C)his mighty heavens![a]
Praise him for his (D)mighty deeds;
    praise him according to his excellent (E)greatness!
Praise him with (F)trumpet sound;
    praise him with (G)lute and (H)harp!
Praise him with (I)tambourine and (J)dance;
    praise him with (K)strings and (L)pipe!
Praise him with sounding (M)cymbals;
    praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
Let (N)everything that has breath praise the Lord!
(O)Praise the Lord!

Hosea 5:15-6:6

15 (A)I will return again to my place,
    until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face,
    and (B)in their distress earnestly seek me.

Israel and Judah Are Unrepentant

“Come, let us (C)return to the Lord;
    for (D)he has torn us, that he may heal us;
    he has struck us down, and (E)he will bind us up.
After two days (F)he will revive us;
    on the third day he will raise us up,
    that we may live before him.
(G)Let us know; (H)let us press on to know the Lord;
    (I)his going out is sure as the dawn;
he will come to us (J)as the showers,
    (K)as the spring rains that water the earth.”
What shall I do with you, (L)O (M)Ephraim?
    What shall I do with you, O (N)Judah?
Your love is (O)like a morning cloud,
    (P)like the dew that goes early away.
Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets;
    I have slain them (Q)by the words of my mouth,
    and my judgement goes forth as the light.
For (R)I desire steadfast love[a] and not sacrifice,
    (S)the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.

2 John 1-6

Greeting

(A)The elder to the elect lady and her children, (B)whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all who (C)know (D)the truth, (E)because of the truth that abides in us and will be with us for ever:

(F)Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ the Father's Son, in truth and love.

Walking in Truth and Love

(G)I rejoiced greatly to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as we were commanded by the Father. And now I ask you, dear lady—(H)not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but the one we have had from the beginning—(I)that we love one another. And (J)this is love, that we walk according to his commandments; this is the commandment, just (K)as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it.
