Psalm 107:1-3

Book Five

Let the Redeemed of the Lord Say So

107 (A)Oh give thanks to the Lord, (B)for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever!
Let (C)the redeemed of the Lord say so,
whom he has (D)redeemed from trouble[a]
and (E)gathered in from the lands,
from the east and from the west,
from the north and from the south.

Psalm 107:17-22

17 Some were (A)fools through their sinful ways,
    and because of their iniquities suffered affliction;
18 (B)they loathed any kind of food,
and they (C)drew near to (D)the gates of death.
19 (E)Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble,
and he delivered them from their distress.
20 He (F)sent out his word and (G)healed them,
and (H)delivered them from their destruction.
21 (I)Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love,
for his wondrous works to the children of man!
22 And let them (J)offer sacrifices of thanksgiving,
and (K)tell of his deeds in (L)songs of joy!

Daniel 12:5-13

Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others stood, one on (A)this bank of the stream and one on that bank of the stream. And someone said to (B)the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream,[a] (C)“How long shall it be till the end of these wonders?” And I heard (D)the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; (E)he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and (F)swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a (G)time, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of (H)the power of (I)the holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished. I heard, (J)but I did not understand. Then I said, “O my lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?” He said, (K)“Go your way, Daniel, (L)for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 (M)Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but (N)the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, (O)but those who are wise shall understand. 11 And from the time that (P)the regular burnt offering is taken away and (Q)the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days. 12 (R)Blessed is he who waits and arrives at the 1,335 days. 13 (S)But go your way till the end. (T)And you shall rest and shall stand in your allotted place at (U)the end of the days.”

Ephesians 1:7-14

(A)In him we have (B)redemption (C)through his blood, (D)the forgiveness of our trespasses, (E)according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight (F)making known[a] to us the mystery of his will, (G)according to his purpose, which he (H)set forth in Christ 10 as a plan for (I)the fullness of time, (J)to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

11 In him we have obtained (K)an inheritance, (L)having been predestined (M)according to the purpose of him who works all things according to (N)the counsel of his will, 12 so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be (O)to the praise of his glory. 13 In him you also, when you heard (P)the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, (Q)were sealed with the (R)promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is (S)the guarantee[b] of our (T)inheritance until (U)we acquire (V)possession of it,[c] (W)to the praise of his glory.
