Psalm 66:8-20

Bless our God, O peoples;
    let the sound of his praise be heard,
who has kept our soul among the living
    and (A)has not let our feet slip.
10 For you, O God, have (B)tested us;
    you have tried us as silver is tried.
11 You brought us into (C)the net;
    you laid a crushing burden on our backs;
12 you let men (D)ride over our heads;
    we went through fire and through (E)water;
yet you have brought us out to a place of abundance.

13 I will come into your house with burnt offerings;
    I will (F)perform my vows to you,
14 that which my lips uttered
    and my mouth promised (G)when I was in trouble.
15 I will offer to you burnt offerings of fattened animals,
    with the smoke of the sacrifice of rams;
I will make an offering of bulls and goats. Selah

16 (H)Come and hear, all you who fear God,
    and I will tell what he has done for my soul.
17 I cried to him with my mouth,
    and high praise was on[a] my tongue.[b]
18 If I had (I)cherished iniquity in my heart,
    (J)the Lord would not have listened.
19 But truly (K)God has listened;
    he has attended to the voice of my prayer.

20 Blessed be God,
    because he has not rejected my prayer
    or removed his steadfast love from me!

Genesis 8:13-19

13 In the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried from off the earth. And Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked, and behold, the face of the ground was dry. 14 In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth had dried out. 15 Then God said to Noah, 16 “Go out from the ark, (A)you and your wife, and your sons and your sons' wives with you. 17 Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh—birds and animals and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth—that they may swarm on the earth, and (B)be fruitful and multiply on the earth.” 18 So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him. 19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every bird, everything that moves on the earth, went out by families from the ark.

John 14:27-29

27 (A)Peace I leave with you; (B)my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. (C)Let not your hearts be troubled, neither (D)let them be afraid. 28 (E)You heard me say to you, (F)‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I (G)am going to the Father, for (H)the Father is greater than I. 29 And (I)now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe.
