Psalm 66:1-9

Praise for God’s Mighty Deeds and for His Answer to Prayer.

For the music director. A Song. A Psalm.

66 (A)Shout joyfully to God, all the earth;
Sing the (B)glory of His name;
Make His (C)praise glorious.
Say to God, “How (D)awesome are Your works!
Because of the greatness of Your power Your enemies will (E)pretend to obey You.
(F)All the earth will worship You,
And will (G)sing praises to You;
They will sing praises to Your name.” Selah

(H)Come and see the works of God,
Who is (I)awesome in His deeds toward the sons of mankind.
He (J)turned the sea into dry land;
They passed through (K)the river on foot;
Let’s (L)rejoice there, in Him!
He (M)rules by His might forever;
His (N)eyes keep watch on the nations;
The rebellious shall not (O)exalt themselves! Selah

Bless our God, you peoples,
And [a](P)sound His praise abroad,
Who [b](Q)keeps us in life,
And (R)does not allow our feet to [c]slip.

Zechariah 14:10-21

10 All the land will change into a plain from (A)Geba to (B)Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but [a]Jerusalem will (C)rise and (D)remain on its site from (E)Benjamin’s Gate as far as the place of the First Gate to the (F)Corner Gate, and from the (G)Tower of Hananel to the king’s wine presses. 11 People will live in it, and there will (H)no longer be a curse, for Jerusalem will (I)live in security.

12 Now this will be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will (J)rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth. 13 And it will come about on that day that a great panic from the Lord will [b]fall on them; and they will (K)seize one another’s hand, and the hand of one will [c]be raised against the hand of another. 14 (L)Judah also will fight at Jerusalem; and the (M)wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered, gold, silver, and garments in great abundance. 15 And just like this (N)plague, there will be a plague on the horse, the mule, the camel, the donkey, and all the cattle that will be in those camps.

16 Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will (O)go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of armies, and to celebrate the (P)Feast of Booths. 17 And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the (Q)King, the Lord of armies, there will be (R)no rain on them. 18 And if the family of Egypt does not go up or enter, then no rain will fall on them; it will be the (S)plague with which the Lord strikes the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths. 19 This will be the [d]punishment of Egypt, and the [e]punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths.

20 On that day there will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, “(T)Holy to the Lord.” And the (U)cooking pots in the Lords house will be like the bowls before the altar. 21 Every cooking pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be (V)holy to the Lord of armies; and all who sacrifice will come and take of them and boil in them. And there will no longer be a [f](W)Canaanite in the house of the Lord of armies on that day.

Luke 9:1-6

Ministry of the Twelve

(A)Now He called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all the demons, and the power to heal diseases. And He sent them out to (B)proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing. And He said to them, (C)Take nothing for your journey, (D)neither a staff, nor a [a]bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not even have two [b]tunics. And whatever house you enter, stay there [c]until you leave that city. And as for all who do not receive you, when you leave that city, (E)shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” And as they were leaving, they began going [d]throughout the villages, (F)preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.
