31 In Thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in Thy righteousness.

² Bow down Thine ear to me, deliver me speedily; be Thou my strong rock, a house of defense to save me.

³ For Thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for the sake of Thy name, lead me and guide me.

⁴ Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me, for Thou art my strength.

⁵ Into Thine hand I commit my spirit; Thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.

¹⁹ O how great is Thy goodness which Thou hast laid up for them that fear Thee, which Thou hast wrought for them that trust in Thee before the sons of men!

²⁰ Thou shalt hide them in the safety of Thy presence from the pride of man; Thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

²¹ Blessed be the Lord, for He hath shown me His marvelous kindness in a stronghold city!

²² For I said in my haste, “I am cut off from before Thine eyes!” Nevertheless Thou heard the voice of my supplications when I cried unto Thee.

²³ O love the Lord, all ye His saints! For the Lord preserveth the faithful, but plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

²⁴ Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.

24 And He said unto Moses, “Come up unto the Lord, thou and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship ye afar off.

² And Moses alone shall come near the Lord; but they shall not come nigh, neither shall the people go up with him.”

³ And Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord and all the judgments; and all the people answered with one voice and said, “All the words which the Lord hath said will we do.”

⁴ And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord, and rose up early in the morning and built an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

⁵ And he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the Lord.

⁶ And Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

⁷ And he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the audience of the people; and they said, “All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.”

⁸ And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Behold the blood of the covenant which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words.”

¹⁷ Behold, thou art called a Jew and rest in the law and make thy boast of God,

¹⁸ and knowest His will and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed from the law,

¹⁹ and art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,

²⁰ an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, having in the law the form of knowledge and of the truth.

²¹ Thou therefore who teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? Thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

²² Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? Thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

²³ Thou that makest thy boast in the law, dost thou dishonor God through breaking the law?

²⁴ For, “The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you,” as it is written.

²⁵ For circumcision verily profiteth if thou keep the law; but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.

²⁶ Therefore if the Uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

²⁷ And shall not uncircumcision, which is by nature, if it fulfill the law, judge thee, who having the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

²⁸ For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh.

²⁹ But he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and whose circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit and not in the letter, and whose praise is not from men, but from God.
