89 I will (A)sing of the lovingkindness of the Lord forever;
To all generations I will (B)make known Your (C)faithfulness with my mouth.
2 For I have said, “(D)Lovingkindness will be built up forever;
In the heavens You will establish Your (E)faithfulness.”
3 “I have made a covenant with (F)My chosen;
I have (G)sworn to David My servant,
4 I will establish your (H)seed forever
And build up your (I)throne to all generations.” [d]Selah.
15 How blessed are the people who know the [a](A)joyful sound!
O Lord, they walk in the (B)light of Your countenance.
16 In (C)Your name they rejoice all the day,
And by Your righteousness they are exalted.
17 For You are the glory of (D)their strength,
And by Your favor [b]our (E)horn is exalted.
18 For our (F)shield belongs to the Lord,
[c]And our king to the (G)Holy One of Israel.
Hananiah’s False Prophecy
28 Now in the same year, (A)in the beginning of the reign of (B)Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, (C)Hananiah the son of Azzur, the prophet, who was from (D)Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of the Lord in the presence of the priests and all the people, saying, 2 “(E)Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, ‘I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. 3 Within two years I am going to bring back to this place (F)all the vessels of the Lord’s house, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place and carried to Babylon. 4 I am (G)also going to bring back to this place (H)Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and all the (I)exiles of Judah who went to Babylon,’ declares the Lord, ‘for I will break the (J)yoke of the king of Babylon.’”
Instructions
17 He said to His disciples, “(A)It is inevitable that [a]stumbling blocks come, but woe to him through whom they come! 2 (B)It [b]would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble. 3 [c]Be on your guard! (C)If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4 And if he sins against you (D)seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ [d]forgive him.”
