Tree of Life Version (TLV)
Version
Job 19:23-27

23 Oh that my words were written,
that they were recorded in a scroll
24 that with an iron pen and lead,
they were engraved in stone forever!

My Redeemer Lives!

25 “Yet I know that my Redeemer lives,
and in the end, He will stand on earth.
26 Even after my skin has been destroyed,
yet in my flesh I will see God;[a]
27 I myself will see Him with my own eyes,
    I and not a stranger.
My heart[b] grows weak within me.

Psalm 17:1-9

A Plea for Vindication

Psalm 17

A prayer of David.
Hear, Adonai, a just plea, listen to my cry!
Give ear to my prayer—from lips with no deceit.
From Your presence comes my vindication.
Your eyes see what is right.
You have examined my heart.
You searched me at night.
Though You test me, You find nothing.
I resolved that my mouth will not sin.
As for the deeds of mankind—
by the word of Your lips
I have kept out of the ways of the violent.
My steps have kept on Your paths.
My feet have not slipped.
I called upon You, O God,
    for You will answer me.
Incline Your ear to me,
    hear my speech.
Be wonderful with Your lovingkindness,
O Savior of those taking refuge at Your right hand
from those rising up against them.
Protect me like the pupil of the eye.
Hide me in the shadow of Your wings,
from the wicked who attack me—
    my enemies, who surround me.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-5

The Man of Lawlessness

Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, concerning the coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah and our gathering together to Him, not to get shaken out of your mind or disturbed—either by a spirit or a word or a letter as if through us—as though the Day of the Lord[a] has come. Let no one deceive you in any way, for the Day will not come unless the rebellion comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the one destined to be destroyed. [b] He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in the Temple of God, proclaiming himself that he is God.[c]

Don’t you remember that when I was still with you I was telling you these things?

2 Thessalonians 2:13-17

Firstfruits of Salvation

13 But we should always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits for salvation[a] through sanctification by the Ruach and belief in the truth. 14 He called you to this salvation through our proclaiming the Good News, for you to gain the glory of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah. 15 So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold on to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by our letter.

16 Now may our Lord Yeshua the Messiah Himself and God our Father, who loved us and by grace gave us eternal comfort and good hope, 17 comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good deed and word.

Luke 20:27-38

27 Then some of the Sadducees (who deny there is a resurrection) came and questioned Yeshua. 28 “Teacher,” they said, “Moses wrote for us that ‘if a man’s brother dies’ having a wife ‘but no children, then his brother should take the widow and father children for his brother.’ [a] 29 Now there were seven brothers, and the first took a wife and died childless; 30 and the second 31 and the third took her, but in this same way, each of the seven brothers died and left no children. 32 Finally the woman died too. 33 So in the resurrection, whose wife is she? For all seven had married her.

34 Yeshua said to them, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage. 35 But those considered worthy to reach the olam ha-ba and the resurrection of the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage. 36 For they can no longer die, because they are like angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. 37 But at the burning bush even Moses revealed that the dead are raised, when he calls Adonai ‘the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ [b] 38 Now He is God not of the dead but of the living, for to Him they all are living.”
